The other people on my trip stayed at other camps and to be honest they are all the same, the only difference is I felt my camp was more welcoming and there are power sockets in the tent which not all camps offer. The property is in a nice garden like setting, basic clean tents with attached bathrooms, although I...

I stayed here for 3 nights while on a safari in Masai Mara. The stay was arranged by the safari company, Jossy Travel, for our budget safari so we were expecting traditional tents with sleeping bags on the floor, so we were pleasantly surprised in all ways by Mara Sidai!! There is nothing budget about this camp, in my opinion....

We just finished our 3 days / 2 nights Maasai Mara National Reserve, organized by SafariBook Evolution (great staff and excellent, budget friendly service) last Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th March. Being our first safari in Kenya I was worried about many things including accommodation, especially when we were told it is camping. We asked all the information we could...

We had great safari staying two nights in this camp. I don't have much to compare with in the safarigenre. Positive was that you easily get contact with the masai in the village close, that the camp is just outside the gamepark, the breakfast very nice, the staff helpful. A littlebit negative was that the tents with bathroom could need...

My friends wanted to visit Maasai Mara and Generations Safaris took us there. We opted to stay at Mara Sidai Camp. The stay was very nice starting with the reception that we got from the Maasais. They welcomed us with a glass of very fresh juice and as we waited for the allocation of tents, the maasais carried all our...

travelled with bonfire adventures,(the best, try them😃) 6 hrs drive from Nairobi. The two last hours on a very murram and dusty Road. Wouldn't recommend a saloon car. Warm reception by maasai who helped carry luggage to the rooms. Treated to some cold juice with a tiny buffet(basic food). nice and spacious rooms with a toilet, bathroom (hot shower) "Tip: Request...

Very basic accommodation, but clean tends and a nice hot shower. Manager and chef very friendly. Food is good but monotonous. The dining room needs serious renovation. I did not feel good eating in such a hut with dirty walls and with ruined roof full of leakage. Insects found in food as there is no proper environment.

The place inside their camp is just perfect .Me and my friend were the only people in the resort and we were worried initially . Later we had a discussion with the manager, Joseph and he briefed us about the place and security . After the discussion we were very comfortable . The place is good and close to the...

My friend and I lived here for two night. The staffs are friendly and the place is clean. We can take a hot shower in the tent. Also, it is near the Masai Mara national reserve and Masia, very convenience. If you want to live a cheap but convenience, here is a good choice.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The camp comprises 23 luxurious en-suite tents. Each tent has a private bathroom and water is heated by charcoal boiler . Camp facilities include a restaurant , a bar and a lounge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant but one can also choose to enjoy a romantic bush dinner served beneath the starlit African night. Bush breakfast is the perfect surprise after an exciting morning game drive with astonishing view over the Mara plains. We at Mara Sidai are passionate about cooking and our chefs have put together a tantalizing assortment of their own original recipes that capture the taste of long gone colonial days from French, English, Italian and Danish classical cooking. Our menu also includes food from the international cuisines or best of all, exotic traditional Kenyan meals are also served. ... more   less
