Hotel: My husband and I traveled to Bateleur Camp at the end of July and it was perfect! Warm during the day and cool at night. There is a ceiling fan above the bed that really circulates the air and the room is surrounded by vegetation which also keeps the room cool. At night, there are hot water bags that...

What a fantastic place! A luxury hotel room in a camp tent setting so the best of both worlds. As we have found on our Micato (phenomenal) safari, the East Africans are amongst the friendliest people on the planet with the "And Beyond" team at the pinnacle. They go to such a huge effort to make your stay the best...

Not ever sure where to begin in order to articulate the wonderful experience we had. To start with, we were greeted by the sweetest staff. Everyone was so accommodating and gracious. The food was crazy good. The bar was well stocked and the "tents" were luxurious. We had a great view every morning over looking the Masai Mara. Coffee was...

I rarely review as I know each experience is a unique one and am sure every hotel/resort/camp is a personal adventure. I must on this occasion say that our days at Bateleur were exceptional. A wonderful balance of "canvas" (old world charm) and modern conveniences. The food was lovely (always fresh and mostly locally grown), the staff - incredibly friendly...

Bateleur Camp is divided in 2 sections, the "Andbeyond' section which is only 18 tents a bit more secluded and private, the other camp catered to families..but very good too, big pool, bar and restaurant it was hard to believe we were in the bush. it's 10 min from the air strip and located in a private space of the...

We arrived at andBeyond and were immediately greeted by fresh beverages and snacks on the airstrip. Everything following that was just as incredible and welcoming, Macebo makes sure you are taken care. Benson our game driver made it his personal mission to find every animal we wanted to see more than once, we saw the entire big 5 and we...

Rooms facing the Plain of Masai Mara, with an area in front of the tent that is used to set meals weather permitting and sometimes the chef will cook your deal meal there..that is you own chef. Four poster bed with leather coaches.

One of those places you have to see to believe. First class accommodations and service. Incredible views, wonderful food, and the Maasai Mara outside your tent as far as the eye can see. We really enjoyed the hike we went on as well as the night tour.

Where to start? What a great time. The Game viewing is amazing. Our Guide Erick was terrific and Deborah who took care of us for our meals was a real treat. My wife called her "her sister from a different mister". They got along so well. We will be back for the Game Viewing and for our new friends.

I got to spend 4 amazing nights at Bateleur camp, and words cannot even begin to explain how much I enjoyed it!! The camp itself is beautiful - as others have said, it exudes the classic, historic safari experience of the 1920s. The rooms/tents are beautiful, and the main area is like something out of a movie. Large, inviting, impeccably...
