Stayed at the lodge for 2 nights whilst on a tour around Kenya.
It is the oldest lodge in the Masai Mara and is situated in a location which sees a lot of wildlife. The lodge is nicely decorated with local artwork, furniture etc.

Fly from Wilson airport not far from Nairobi International, reasonable prices and takes about 45 mins.
Lands at keekorok about 5 mins from the hotel. The drive is a long bumpy ride well worth flying instead

You can use USD no problem. If you need you can change a bit in the lodge. You cannot spend any money outside the lodge. When you return there will be a few locals selling things by the landing strip. If you want anything you may need local currency. Even then you can change some from your driver.
