My 10 year old daughter and I just returned from our Kenya vacation. Our first stop was Siana Springs. From our arrival at the airstrip just a minute or two away from the camp, until the moment we left, we had an amazing time. Having never stayed in a tented camp before, and usually staying in 4 or 5 star...

What a surprise to find that we'd be staying so comfortable at Siana Springs, even though we sensed we were out in the middle of nowhere!

Though Siana Springs was not my first choice for lodging (nor second), we found it incredilbly relaxing and idylic. The tented compound, though somewhat off the beaten path, is well spaced out with large grassy plains and trees coupled with the occasion sound of monkeys swinging in the trees above. The tented cabins were spotless and the showers were just...

This hotel has been fantastic. Everything I can say is good things about it. The location, the facilities, the food, the people working in the place... We spent two nights there. During the evening, after a tyring day at the safari, you can relax sitting around a fire looking at the different types of monkeys, little animals and gazelles, listening...

Great camp with fine food and service. Would have been good to know that it's not actually in the Maasai Mara (true of many camps these days) although we did see Maasai villages and some good game on our 30 min. trip to the gate. Talk by 'game expert' a bit 1970's with an ancient slide projector and nothing I...

The only downgrade I would give for Siana Springs that was noticed by one of our party was that there was no long range view of the landscape. However, it is in a beautiful wooded glade, with its own spring fed swimming pool, and animals are all around all the time....tree hyrxas, vervet and colobus monkeys, and small antelopes. The...

With the wildlife all around, and a fully equipped, truly customer-friendly staff, this place gets you really closer to living right in the middle of it, in wonderful accommodations, with easy access to the Mara and the migration. The staff in the restaurant and bar were so comfortable to relate to, and access to internet was easy too, for those...

The Siana Springs Hotel was outstanding. The service was professional and friendly, our tent "steward" was attentive, efficient and very accomodating. The Hotel as an HQ for our forays out into the bush was perfect and the entertainment and informative lectures were just what I needed to really appreciate what I was seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel fo...

Great tented camp. Wonderful walk from main bar/dining room to tent, thru trees & by the pool. Watch out for Monkey's grabbing food of front seating area of tent in AM. They are cute & fast. We have stayed in many tent camps and this is one of the best for the money. Not up to South Africa Luxury status...

Both my children and us (and our friends travelling together) loved the place - so peaceful and environment friendly... I was amazed with the spacy tents and the fact that they really had everything. Great shower! The hot water bags were a warm surprise and I missed them when coming back home. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and...
