We stayed 2 nights as part of a safari so can't comment on price/value. Our large and well decorated tent (and tiled bathroom) was perfectly located on the bank of the river with views into the park on the other side. The staff were very friendly and helpful - a big thankyou to our Masia guards Simon & Dennis for...

We stayed here after a mission trip in Kenya. The rooms are actually tents with a floor and tile bathrooms. It was the first hot shower I had in over a week and it was much needed. The tents do not have a way to lock, but there are continual guards patrolling the area. Our tent over looked the river...

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Fig Tree Camp. While the interiors of the tents and the bathrooms were a touch run down, we had a great view of the river, and were lucky enough to have a mother crocodile and her nest across the river, and the occasional hippo visitor in the river as well. The beds were...

Tents are very spacious.. little run down and old interiors and bathroom fittings. Tents are right next to the river stream, gives opportunities to see some birds and wildlife. Food and service is very good. Very warm and good staff. B ecareful about musquitoes.

Decent size rooms with basic amenities but clean and well maintained. Some of the rooms are quite a walk from the restaurant. Buffet has a good spread. Wifi is available but charged. Friendly staff, overall a comfortable stay.

The rooms left much to be desired...so do check that well when booking...ours was quite old...and poorly maintained . The pool area...

The food was great, the service excellent. We could see numerous animals from our terrace. The tents and bathrooms are very nice. The hotel itself is beautiful and the perfect starting point for a safari.

Nice location, true adventure of living in middle of national reserve park. No air condition or fans. No electricity between 12 am to 5 am and again ater breakfast till 6 pm. Nice and comfortable tents. Courteous staff however need training to handle difficult situations. Overall worth a visit.
