Good rooms on a good location in the center of Beijing, Dongcheng District. A market on the left hand when exiting the hotel, and with a 2 minute walk your in the nearby park where in the morning all different kinds of exercise takes place, very nice for a morning walk. A few kilometers from the Temple of Heaven complex...

I had the single room, the room was an OK size. Bathroom was some weird plastic box kind of thing. The bed is good, slept well. Sometimes there are people being loud in the hallways, but that is to be expected in China. The location is nice, close to the subway and close to the Temple of Heaven. I felt...

We were part of a group who stayed here for four nights. Our first impressions were that it was very basic. Small rooms have just enough floor space for two persons to share. But it is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a "closet type" prefabricated bathroom with all the basic amenities needed. You won't use this hotel if you...

1st impression from outside - like comunist era hospital style - inside is not as bad as the other hotels we saw in Beijing and Shanghai. The rooms are clean, beds are all right but do not be fooled by their photos. Standard rooms are small. We stayed in double room with double bed - not much space in it....

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The tube station was about 10 mins walk. The Temple of Heaven was very close to the hotel - around 10-15 mins walk. The area of this hotel is quite poor and it was difficult to find any good quality food. However, the hotel itself was very nice especially for this price. The...

It's a good and Clean Western Style Hotel, the guests are mixed, European, American, Asian and Locals. Actually it's conveniently located near Temple Of Heaven and if you like to shop souvenirs like clothes, small gadgets, bags and shoes, you can go to Hongqiao Market, which is located about 100m in front of Temple of Heaven. You can reach both...

Even though this hotel is away from most of the main tourist spots in Beijing it's a nice choice if you can't find accommodation elsewhere. My room had a comfortable bed (Chinese style with the box spring mattress only), good A/C & Heater unit, and a euro-style shower that worked fine. Most of the staff speak English adequately and are...

Good hotel with friendly staff, breakfast is Chineese style but for 15 yuan good value. It'a locatwd a bit outside off the city, to far (for us) to walk forbidden city (expectwd 1.5 hrs walk). Temple of Heaven is a 20 min walk which is ok. To go onto the city we used the subway that is near the entrance...

“In China If you are on budget - go for chain hotels like Holiday Inn Express- you will pay 250-300Y. In most cases it is less than local cheap hotels but the service you will receive and cleaniness will be 5 times better.”
