My wife and I have always gotten away for our anniversary. So while living in Beijing we went to the Fengshan Hot spring Resort. One word of caution, if you are a foreigner make sure you bring your passports. We have been living in Beijing now for +6 months and have traveled a lot around Asia but not much with...

We went to just the Hot Springs area for a day trip from Beijing. We didn't stay overnight. It was easy to get there. We had our own car, but there is a subway stop close by, and an easy, short taxi ride from there. We got there in the morning, checked in, and they gave us a bracelet for...

Ouch. This place is a bit of a dive. We stayed there because it was one of the only accommodation options available for a major sporting event that we were participating in. Where this hotel thinks that it got 4 stars from is beyond me. There is technically nothing wrong with the rooms, but they are very basic. The beds...

Good to know: Black cab costs 25 RMB from Nanshao subway station (end of Changping line). Great service: We had a Type C suite located on the crummy first floor in East Building, and called to transfer to the second floor-- No Problem. Unexpected news: The door ticket to the Hot springs is a one-time entry only, valid for 24...
