we stayed in room 8253 on the second floor. the wall and the floor is not clean. i don't think they clean the wall at all and they probably just mop the floor with water. the washroom is a disgrace and dirty. this is the worse jinjiang inn we have stayed in. the one in guangzhou and wuhan were nice, but this one gets a F. i filled out the customer comment card and mailed it to its shanghai office. we thought about moving to another hotel next day, since we only have 2 days in beijing, so we toughed it out the second day. the breakfast was not appealing at all. the only good thing about this hotel is that it is only 5 minutes walk from the subway station. for $255 a night ( for members only), we could have done better staying somewhere else. do not recommend this hotel if all their rooms are like #8253.…
It was a bit difficult to find the hotel as the hotel was located off-street. The price was very good and room was clean. However, I was struggling with bed-bugs, having 5 or 6 bites in one night. Also when I was checking in, the receptionists could not speak English at all, and they requested to give them some deposit (normal in China?) which was returned at check-out. There are several local restaurants around the hotel, but no English menu available at all. The underground station was only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Hidden on a side street, this hotel is one of your basic no frills "business" hotel that have been popping up all over China. The place is clean, but spartan. The washroom is a little disconcerting because it is an elevated floor. There is high speed internet, but it's wired. Outsid there are plenty of restaurants nearby. At night, the street lights up to become a foodie street. Very close to a subway station.
