I arrived to reception not having my booking. They offered me a better room at the same price. All this was transacted through a translation app as they don't speak English and I don't speak Mandarin. Excellent location, the rooms are nice and very clean for a Chinese hotel. It is a smoke free hotel but nobody pays any attention...

My friends and I were booked to stay a night here and when we arrived they had no records of our booking even though we had the.booking confirmation and had already pre-paid for it months beforehand. Instead of investigating it they left us sitting in their lobby stranded, and offered us no help at all. They didn't even give us...

I stayed in 2 different rooms here. 18th May on 3rd floor & the room was large, clean & comfortable. 21st & 22nd May I was on 4th floor where the room was slightly better with a massive double bed & it was really comfortable. I ate in the restaurant for dinner twice & found it really nice food. I...

A complete run down hotel... Nasty old carpets which smell rotten.. Furnishing & decor which hasn't been changed for decades. No one at concierge can speak English. The only saving grace for us was a floor manager called Ivy who could empathize with our complaints & did her best to address the issue. Location is good, but not worth staying...

We were hosted at this hotel with a group of young fashion designers by Hempel, for China Fashion Week. It's not a hotel that would have been on our radar and from the reviews we weren't expecting too much. It's predominantly a Chinese Business Hotel and although a couple of the staff try to speak English, communication can be a...

3 words to describe this old carpet, nasty bathroom, and falling apart furniture... old, nasty, old. Like many Chinese hotels they provide condoms next to the toothpaste... but with a little twist the condoms were expired 2 years ago... so you better watch out... because is coming to town...

We booked city view room with Orbitz, however we got room without windows. The manager asked us to pay 100USD/night for room with windows. Even though we already booked city view, they did not accept Orbitz reservation. I contacted Orb rep, but when he called the hotel, the manager did not speak english, which he really does not. Orb rep...

The hotel is little bit old and locates in a dark area. Even some online booking rates this hotel at 4* but it should be 3* only. Access to city center from hotel is quite close and easy. Breakfast is normal.

Location This is the best part of this hotel, its close to most of the major attractions in Beijing. We didnt have to use public transport at all and walked to all the attractions (Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Qianmen Street, Wangfujing). Price I paid an average of £72 per night, which I thought was quite expensive for China. But actually...

What really is nice of this hotel, is the fact that is near to Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city. Serviced by 2 subway station that are both 10 minutes fare by walk. The room are ok, not dirty. Only the carpet is dirty and holey. The bathroom is small and the walls behind the tub are moody. There's no...
