I didn't choose this hotel, as it was included in my package tour. It is not a bad hotel, but it isn't a luxury hotel, just 4 stars. The rooms are OK, nice size and good bathroom. The biggest problem is the reception, that the young people who are there don't speak english and less spanish, which was quite difficult and is an unthinkable thing in a supposed international hotel. It is mainly addressed to chinese public. And the breakfast buffet was a mess. You had to go very early if you wanted to eat properly, and there weren't enought tables for the number of rooms, so you sometimes had to share tables with strange people, which is not reasonable in a luxury hotel. And the hotel is really far from the center of Beijing. Fortunately, there was a metro station close to it. The lobby: very luxurious

We travelled as a family of five with three teenagers and found the hotel clean, spacious and the staff very helpful. There was a large variation of breakfast options and plenty of space to eat in the mornings. We found the bar staff in the hotel did not have a clue when it came to pouring and making cocktails even though they would advertise them constantly. 😂. There were an Handful of bars and restaurants that were a lot cheaper than the hotel right next door in the evening that did excellent food and there was also a kfc at the end of the road which was ideal with three teenagers needing a westernised fast food kick. The hotel was a long distance to the centre but there was a subway called Niwa station a five minute walk away which was unbelievably cheap and easy to use but took nearly 40 minutes to get to the centre. Overall not a bad hotel but wished we stayed nearer the centre.

We stayed here as part of our Exoticca tour, this was out first experience of China. The reception was grand and spacious, with marble floors and busy reception. Our first room had stained carpets, broken window, leaking shower. We rang reception to complain but they don’t speak much English there so it was difficult to communicate. We did have a different room eventually, which was slightly better but still nowhere near to a 5*. May be they have a different rating system there. The hotel is very far away from the centre and we were stuck there with nothing to do in the evenings. Couple of small shops across the road, one of the owners in the closest shop was making some profit charging foreigners much more than others (we only later discovered other shops along the main road, where everything was much cheaper). For evening meals we went across the road on the right hand side from the hotel, where they had a line of different restaurants, all in Chinese of course, no one spoke any English, but we managed to go by the pictures in the menu and food was delicious and very cheap - £2-4 a meal (large portions!).

My wife and I were part of a tour group and this hotel was our first stop. The check in was a very slow process due to us arriving mid morning. I would say this was the fault of Exoticcaas we all know rooms are never ready so early! The bedrooms were spacious and tidy as were the bathrooms although the shower was a bit grubby. The selection for breakfast was very good, a mixture of chinese and western food ( or what the chinese think western food is )!! There was a metro station relatively close and overall I thought the hotel was very good.

Stayed here as booked Exoticca holiday, tour operator was Nimbus travel.Hotel reception was very spacious and nice, had difficulty checking in, as no English spoken on reception, and our guide wasn't with us. We had to translate via a phone app, we tried to sort an early check in ti no avail. I found that the hotel was a little out of town and not much to do in the surrounding area. We did eat in a small place across from the hotel, but even that was difficult! Luckily a lady ordering food there, helped us order ours. Room big, but need to be redecorated and cleaned properly!

Stayed here as part of a tour with Exoticca, organised by Nimbus. Beware of their guide Brian who will pressurise you into tipping more than the recommended advice. Very aggressive compared to the other 3 guides later on in the tour. Impressive reception but rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. Moved from our first room, which had a smashed external window, very stained carpets, water everywhere in bathroom and dirty chairs. Second room was better but still had a smell of smoke which they try to disguise with a plug-in air freshener. Actually better with out this plugin. Little English spoken at reception and not the best location. Breakfast was pretty comprehensive, with a selection of hot and cold food, cereals and cakes etc. hot and cold self service drinks. There are actually chefs who will cook you an omelette, noodles etc. There are a number of good restaurants just outside the hotel to the right in a parade of them. I had the same meal 4 times as it was delicious and very cheap! I would give you the name if the restaurant if I could but it was in Chinese so I can’t! The waiters spoke to an app in their phones to help with translation.

Nice hotel in a great location away from the main hustle of Beijing. Lots of great cheap local eateries & shops. The room I had was huge, very comfortable & quiet. Great breakfast to suit all needs particularly vegans. The only negatives were them renovating around me, the length of my room to the lift, and the lack of English spoken, I don’t mind that as I’m in their country but at times there was an unwillingness to help.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was pretty big, clean, and everyone at the front desk spoke english or used apps to communicate. Our room was enormous, bed was very comfortable and the decor was very modern with a touch of classic China. We did have a funky smell from the shower sometimes, but that was the only negative. Dinning area was also very big and had great selections of western and Chinese food. Outside has a nice little area for beers and relaxing at night. But the restaurants next door had some of the best food we had in our entire trip. We would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and found our large room clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. There were tea making facilities in the room and a large bathroom with a large separate shower. Two free bottles of water were provided each day and there is free wifi. There is a large lobby area on the ground floor with a bar and a buffet restaurant area downstairs. We tried the buffet dinner there on the first night but found it expensive (£18 per head) with restricted choice and went out to nearby restaurants, where a meal for two was around 100Y, the rest of our stay. The breakfast buffet each morning was reasonable if not inspiring. The hotel is a long walk from anywhere but there are a few Chinese restaurants just opposite and a group of shops nearby for purchasing beer or soft drinks. The hotel has some pleasant grounds to sit outside on a fine evening.
