The hotel staff was really cooperative and accommodating. The ladies in the travel desk were well versed in English and really helpful. they helped not only with the tours but also finding local city directions and information. My room 2306 was clean, silent and comfortable.
Nice staff. Plenty of hot water. Room is clean. safe in room. A few minutes to the Forbidden City. Major shopping just around the corner. Breakfast Buffett for about $6 or 7 dollars. Great location. However, the management of the hotel never bought mattresses. You...More

I stayed there 2 different times and the best to my knowledge is they don't have a pool. 2 tips - 1. on some hotel booking sites the address to the hotel is wrong and taxi drivers from the airport and even taxi companies will not be able to find the hotel. Have a mini map of the hotel and area along with the address 2. Almost every tourist site is close to the hotel and very cheap to get to. Use only real taxis and most trips should not run over 70cy and even ones 20 mins away should not be over 150. the unmarked cars, the couple who use their own van, rickshaw driver etc.. who are always parked in front of the hotel or just to the side in the alley, have nothing to do with the hotel, will all rip you off and charge you 5-30x, or whatever they can get out of you, over the normal rate. Soon as you walk out of the hotel or walk near the entrance one of these will ask you if you need a taxi and quote you a crazy price hoping you are new and have no idea of the normal rates. They will smile and treat you like family every time they see you and offer to take you anywhere until you realize you been conned and than they will not speak or even look at you.
