Anyone that have stayed at this hotel and rated the place any higher than terrible or unacceptable is either seriously delusional or have horribly low standards. Firstly, the location is impossible to find unless if you can get someone to write the name of hotel and street in chinese. It was virtually impossible to obtain a bus or taxi from...

Worst hotel out of our Beijing, Xian & Shanghai tour of China. Stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of June 2010. As someone else mentioned, they used very clever photo techniques for the pics on the website. 'Hotel' was very tired with mismatched decor, the rooms were tiny and there was mould everywhere in the bathroom (mould all over...

Our first impression was that the photographer should win an award for the photo's on their website. It was a nice hotel, but tired and dated. The bathroom was clean but the shower leaked everywhere and there was sometimes a smell from the toilet, but that's to be expected in a Hutong I think. English is not widely spoken, if...

Stayed there 3 nights, plus 1/2 day we had to extend as we were catching overnight train to Xi'an. It is located in a Hutong and can be a bit difficult to find initially but actually is only 100metres from shopping and restaurants. Acess is mainly by taxis though buses run on the street nearby and the metro station is...

A quiet alternative to most noisy, busy Beijing hotels. You won't find a quieter place in the heart of BJ. Not alot of fancy amenities but a nice ambience. A little tricky to find, make sure you have the hotel phone number and address written down.

My husband, 2 boys & I stayed at this hotel during the Olympic Games. I booked 2 rooms for 8 days directly through their website. The hotel requested full payment which I wired to them and received confirmation. The hotel arranged airport pickup for us which was very convenient. But, when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel representative whom...

The hotel is very difficult to find. Upon arriving I was greeted with no smiles and an unfriendly welcome. The room was smelly, small and even though there was a window it is of the hospital next door. The shower curtain is a stretchable plastic sheet. There was hot water but that was all that could be said about the...

Booked on hotel's website. E-mail contact is Wendy, who speaks good English. Room was only 258RMB ($35USD) for 2 people. No meals are included in the price. This is a modern hutong courtyard hotel. Common areas are very bright, as there are skylights in entire ceiling above. Room was modern and upscale, with hardwood floors, TV, tiled power shower. Ask...
