I love this hotel! The architecture is traditional Chinese, the rooms are large and clean, and the location is perfect - just steps away from one of Beijings pedestrian only shopping streets (crafts, food, etc). Some things to note: when I stayed here, there were very few other guests, so the restaurant was practically deserted - and the quality/amount of...

We stayed at the Han’s Royal Hotel for one night, great room and very spacious with a sitting area, and service. Nice place to take photos as it is very authentic. Food in a private room was excellent, and we were looked after with excellent staffs. Highly recommended.

This hotel is absolutely amazing , the building is a traditional Chinese courtyard full of history of elegance. We stayed in the hotel for 5 days and we booked their Mediterranean suite. The room is really big and comfortable and it includes a lot of nice services like free Forbidden city tickets and free bicycles to visit the area near...

It is a beautiful building and nice people tending to it but they don't have AC turned on. Had to take a shower in the middle of the night to cool down. Not very modern in this sense. It is also quite expensive. You are probably better off somewhere else. The hotel driver was awesome. He was nice and accommodating...

The hotel is generally beautiful and the staff are nice. They helped us a lot and they are really friendly (i mean the Chinese). We took a lot of nice pictures in it with its special views and style. However, the rooms are quite old. We had a problem with the toilet. The shower place was clogged up and the...

We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and were at first kind of skeptical and were going to opt for a western hotel instead. First thing, throw out the travel books on China and forget what you read and watch on the China documentaries. There was a lot of inaccurate information. This is one of hte cleanest cities I have...

We are still staying at the hotel (12.18-21) and could not be happier with our experience! I'm never one who likes tacky exotic ethnic decorations that some hotels do trying to reproduce and sell their respective exotic locality. I was a bit concerned that Han's Royal Garden would be the same when booking this hotel. But this hotel located in...

Hotel is like staying at the Forbidden Palace. On a hutong off a pedestrian shopping street near the Lakes and subway. Two Italian women concierges excellent. Breakfast was weird, I agree with other reviewers. We ate there anyway because we like to relax and read paper in the morning.

We stayed there in mid September, and as this was our first trip to China and we were going on our own, we put a lot of thought where we were going to stay. We chose this hotel, because of the overall features that it had to offer. It seemed a bit expensive, but still cheaper than a lot of...
