It is probably built for the Olympic support staff because it is opposite the Olympic Park (great for jogging and other outdoor activities) and the athletes village. The latter has been sold off to private owners. The location is in the north of Beijing, near the 4th ring road, and good for visits to the Bird's Nest and the Cube....

Interesting fact: there is a German restaurant in this hotel. I actually ate there the last night because a colleague convinced me to. It was surprisingly good... I slept like a rock afterward! Pros: - some English spoken by professional and courteous staff - spacious, well-appointed rooms - nice decor - close to other restaurants, and a Starbucks (that opens...

Don't really have any clue about the hotel's costs, however I had a very bad experience in this place compare to other hotels (appears to be) of the same class. Internet - did not work, had to change my room 3 times for that reason since there was no technician in the hotel. AC - poor abilities. if you have...

Hotel is located in the Olympic area. Far away from subway station. Only one person at the reception speaks English. Most of the stuff is not experienced and checkin can take a while. Very nice rooms. Decorated according different Olympic events and cities. Clean. Cable internet connection in the room is free, slow and does not work always. German restaurant...

I stayed in this hotel for some business meetings in the local area. It is situated right in the olympic village with shops and restaurants adjacent and this local area has a nice feel to it. The Olympic Forest Park is very close for jogging and walking and the actual 2008 Olympic park with the Birdsnest and Swimming cube about...
