Good: Should've let the guests know upon their arrival if their credit card machine was broken, otherwise it would bring so much inconvenience to guests. Bad: Located inside a hutong, took sometime for me to find the exact location of the guesthouse but that's fine, if you want to experience the old Beijing life this would be a perfect place... More

A nice guesthouse in Beijing hutong area near the city centre. Print the guesthouse map and he patient as it took awile for our taxi driver to find it. Plan your booking in advance as quite fully booked during peak season. American breakfast average but in line with our expectations.

It's a homely hotel. The staff is very good. The hotel is small and very beautiful. The staff is also very helpful. Since it is a small hotel, we do not have meal options in it. For vegetarians and non chinese people, it becomes difficult to look for food outside.

We are family of 3 people. The owner / manager did everything to make us feel @home. Every day he found an extra room for our daughter to stay in so we will have the best free time. Being in China and being strict vegetarian isn't easy, but Daniel made sure every night that we find the best Vegeterian restaurant.... More

I wanted to stay in a traditional building of Beijing Hutong, and Fly by knight courtyard provided such a unique experiences. I booked it a few days before I arrived and they still had a single room, so I was lucky. The room is not too big, but perfect for myself. Bathroom is really nice, with strong shower and heater.... This amazing place brought me one of the most fantastic living experiences during my stay of Beijing. I only had 2 nights in Beijing so my friend and I wanted to experience the most authentic atmosphere possible. This Fly by knight courtyard is stunningly beautiful and also provided a good vibe of home feeling. Right after we checked in the... More

Spent 4 days in a dorm. This hostel is all about service: staff all speaks english and are super friendly. They can recommend places to go, restaurants, etc. The dorm itself was okay: bed are comfortable, they provide towel, shampoo and body wash. They also provide a small locker with the key. There is a computer available at the reception... More

BEWARE STAFF THEFT!!!! My last night wallet & 400 dollars stolen from my room. All my ID cards, cash, everything in the wallet. Someone went through my bag. Chinese staff incredibly rude after the fact. The staff actually laughed guiltily when I reported it?!!!! Are you serious??!! Then they tried to translate the incident to the police as a "lost... We stayed for 7 nights in April. The rooms were quite nice, but a little shabby, with smelly drains - it's expected in the hutongs though. Staff were great, spoke excellent English and were really helpful in giving tips and directions. The courtyard itself it lovely, really peaceful - a nice break from the manic city.

Even nicer than I had been advised! Friends recommended FBK to me so I booked for my 1st 2 nights in BJ. Finding it can be a little tricky, especially at night and/ or you have a lot of luggage. I walked from DengShikou Metro (Exit A, cross the street and head left) but Dongsi Metro is closer (Exit C,... More
