Even nicer than I had been advised! Friends recommended FBK to me so I booked for my 1st 2 nights in BJ. Finding it can be a little tricky, especially at night and/ or you have a lot of luggage. I walked from DengShikou Metro (Exit A, cross the street and head left) but Dongsi Metro is closer (Exit C,...

I had stayed in the female dorm (with attached bathroom) and I find it rather clean and comfortable despite the constant influx of guests checking in and out. It only takes approximately 10 mins to walk from Dongsi subway station Exit C to the hostel but the alleyway in the hutong leading to the hostel is quite dark in the...

Our stay here turned out to be really nice and memorable thanks to the friendly staffs and other guests. On the other hand, we felt like this hostel and especially our 2 single bed room looks not as new and clean as it is in the pictures. It would be perfect if the hostel is repainted and redecorated!

I stayed with friends for a total of 8 nights and loved every moment of it. The hostel is tucked away in one of the oldest, most humble parts of the city. Whilst being a short walk from the subway and bus services, the hutong and hostel offers a quiet escape and serenity amidst the chaos of the city. The...

I have just returned from Beijing and had a fantastic stay at this hostel. It is hidden away in the hutongs just a short walk off one of the main streets and it was fantastic to leave all the commotion of the city behind once back at the hostel. The hostel has a lovely courtyard where guests can relax and...

We stayed here for 6 nights, starting December 26th 2014. The ladies at the reception are very helpfull. The location is great, perfect small restaurants nearby. When it gets cold and windy, this hostel is cold too. Especially in the common room. It needs additional heating. The room is clean in the start, but the way it is looked after...

this is one of those wonderfully hidden gem in the city. when i looked at the map i was expecting it to be the downtown type so i would sacrifice my sleeping time. but it's unique location made it so easy to travel while hidden in the end of a street alley, away from all the cars and honking of...

This is an amazing and beautiful hutong hostel! It is very clean and well maintained. Inside the room, there is a heater. However, the weather in Beijing is very dry, one has to put on tons of lotion. The breakfast is simple and delicious. The staff are very warm and friendly, they are super helpful at giving advice on traveling...

The place lets you experience the way local live their everyday business. It is not too far from the train station and the business district. The bed is clean and comfortable. Staffs are accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The courtyard is fantastic. The common dining area allows for casual conversations with fellow travellers.
