Good selection of local eateries. Strange version of English breakfast but ok. Rooms at the back less well used so carpets are clean. Clean bedding and good facilities overall but, beware rooms at the front where the carpets were gross. They do provide slippers. It's strange but in general I have found that floors really don't matter. In the countryside...

I've seen some of the other reviews and this hotel gets a very mixed response. It looks very out of place (on a very narrow poorly lit backstreet) - but for those people brave enough to walk a little it is actually very centrally located and easily walkable to the main shopping street (20mins walk), night market (about 30mins walk)...

Great hotel, with perfect location and nice facilities. Located on Qianliang Huton it is near by the most interesting areas. Although the staff does not speak much English, they are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable; the bathroom is also spacious and toiletries are provided including hairdryer and toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit etc. The breakfast is...

We spent 3 nights here in a comfortable, warm, clean room. The hotel is in a hutong, a narrow crowded alley with traffic. it felt a bit intimidating, but at the end of the alley is a bright wide street with several nice restaurants & shops. It's quite close to Wangfujing street and to the Forbidden City so a good...

Very out of the way hotel, narrow dark street, we were not able to find a suitable place to eat, and could get no information from hotel, a lot lacking at breakfast, if we were close to shopping centres and metro, how would you find them?

This room came billed as a 4 star hotel in our tailored tour package. I would rate it 2 1/2 to 3 stars. The driveway and lobby were beautiful but the rest of the hotel badly needs to be updated. The worst part were the towels...dingy, gray sometimes with a hole, sometimes large stains but all were badly frayed. Cracked...

We were booked at this hotel by our travelagency ChinaHighlights. Upon arriving we were alarmed at the neighborhood....in the middle of Hutong's. But it turned out to be a good thing...very interesting neighborhood, walk-able to the Metro and a decent hotel. But...even at National Holiday Week (avoid if possible) there were few guests, a sleeping bartender and no evening meals...

Thankfully I was with a group, or else I would never have made it back here every day ... this hotel is located in the middle of a side street, actually in a Hutong neighborhood. Very little traffic, except for the motorbikes with no headlights! The rooms were clean and the breakfasts were good. We were within walking distance to...

A clean, comfortable hotel near the tourist spots in Beijing. A value for the dollars spent. Rooms were up to western travllers standards and enough of rthe staff spoke English which was helpful. The hotel is located on a small alley which keeps traffic down.

Had to walk thru the Hutong neighborhood to arrive at the hotel so you had exposure to a Beijing neighborhood and the experience of a very nice hotel. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very evident. Food for the breakfast buffet was average for the area.
