Jenny the owner, and Xiao the manager made me very welcome. This is more like a bed and breakfast than a regular hotel. Great location near the Forbidden city and close to subway, restaurants and transportation. The rooms are a little snug but ok for the price paid. Nice friendly atmosphere and staff very helpful.

I stayed in this courtyard for two nights with my mother. We stayed in the deluxe twin room. Service was excellent. We arrived at around 10 am and they let us do an early check in to our room without any fuss. It gives a homey feeling rather than a hotel. Plus, the room price is very reasonable. I would...

Hmm, I rarely write reviews as I don't usually get too bothered about hotel conditions as I only see it as a place to rest your head whilst on holiday, however, I have a mixed opinion of this place. I stayed the first time in January 2012, and despite the lack of cleanliness in the rooms, the staff were great...

Despite having studied Chinese for a while, my time in Beijing (two nights, two days) was not a pleasant experience. None of my problems were a direct result of the hotel though. The only thing that they could have helped was a more noticeable (or lit) sign at night so someone unfamiliar to the area could easily find them. Other...
