Please avoid at all cost - advice from me as a SPG Platnium. Sevice is worse than non-existing. The staff actually try to make things wrong for you just so they can do less. Upon check-in, I requested a Temp Residence Registration Form as required for my China visa application at police station the next morning. The staff at SPG...

Stayed here for a couple night. The location is ok, but the hotel is very dated and in need of renovation throughout the whole hotel. Carpets shows lots of ware. The rooms are small, and only have one outlet to use for phones, laptops, stuff. Makes it hard. The prices do reflect its low cost stay.

We stayed for one night here while on transit through Beijing. We booked this hotel for its proximity to the Airport Express train line. While the interior of the hotel was rather dated, unless you intend on spending a significant amount of time in the room, the hotel is a comfortable place to relax. - The hotel is located off...

I did not stay here, rather attended a conference, however, a number of my colleagues DID stay at this property. This is a 1980's era hotel. It was quite clean, however, as others noted, dated. The restaurant buffet was sub-standard and I felt the entire property was dimly illuminated. On the positives, the hotel is just off the ring road...

OK, one complaint... the phone in my bathroom wouldn't stop beeping, so I had to unplug it. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with complimentary bottled water (which I think is standard in Beijing). I chose this hotel mainly for the location, near the Agricultural Exhibition Center metro and lots of attractions in Chaoyang District.

We only stayed here for one night before we caught a train, but it was a great location and a clean and comfortable hotel. This is the former Great Wall Hotel built by the state so it does have a lot of history and it's rather large, but it is dated and could use a bit of a facelift. We...

Stayed in the hotel back of 2014. Hotel was nice. Service was nice also the staff are always ready to help and assist. Bell boys were amazing in assisting in taxies and explaining the best way to go to touristic areas. The hotel asset seems old and need some renovations Keep the good job and the great team

Location is good, but the property is really too old, you can smell its age when entering the lobby (that familiar odor of damp carpets). Facilities have aged and so did most of the staff. I stayed at the Elite floor, in a suite with a strange and very uncomfortable lay-out. The room was dark and filled with papers, regulation...

I was thinking of what positive sides shall I comment on this time machine like hotel. I thought it should be the small CRT TV as I have never seen it for decades so I won't have to visit a museum. Rude service, cold faces, expensive but poor dining options, aged facilities plus very dirty carpets - this is probably...

While there are number of aged hotels those continued to improve guest service and touch up every detail of facilities and therefore recognised as prestigious hotels, Grate Wall Sheraton is standing in opposite. Nothing impressive in guest service, aged guest room that is likely ignored from improvement list, and indeed left away from today's competition. Top management shall experience how...
