Once owned by a wealthy Hong Kong man, he donated it to the Chinese government. When there do not forget to drink tea at the organic tea house run by Helen Hwang! Love the buffet. Grt seafood selection. Even has Movenpick ice cream from Switzerland!

There's a train from the airport to central Beijing so don't take a taxi it is quick and easy. Once in the city the hotel is just a couple of stops on the underground
