I stayed at this central business hotel for 3 nights. It's one of the oldest business hotels in Beijing and is bolted onto a new shopping mall. The rooms were good and the service was excellent. It's obviously a popular tourist hotel so there was a wide range of guests from sports teams to tourists to business travellers. Breakfast was...

I stayed here for one night and unfortunately I was booked into a central hotel rather than close to the airport. I was in peak traffic at around 5.30 pm and it took about 75 min by taxi to reach the hotel. Booking in was fast, what services I used was prompt and efficient. The room was reasonable, minibar was...

Stayed here 6/2/12 - 6/7/12 and it was nothing special. The lobby was decent, the complimentary breakfast was good, and the location was nice and only a 10-minute walk to the Silk Market, but the room itself was only acceptable. I had just come from Shanghai and Xi'an, and this was my least favorite hotel to stay in. The bed...

Well connected via road and via subway trains..located in the central business district in Beijing..well maintained hotel and staff were somewhat more familiar with English..I am veg and always find it difficult to eat but the hotel had some special dishes for the veg..enjoyed especially a couple of dishes. Room was average but neat.

Traveling for business, I let the people who knew Beijing best choose the hotel. These folks had stayed or made reservations for others at Trader's (not to be confused with another Trader's and another Shangri-La hotel on the other side of town) and said it was good for the price. I went along. After a long flight and then traffic...

Excellent service. Excellent location. This place is on top of the World Trade subway line. This comes in handy when you need to go places during peak hour traffic. Other hotels nearby. Upgrading to the executive room is definitely worthwhile because all the furniture there is brand new. http://www.shangri-la.com/beijing/traders/rooms-suites/rooms/executive-room/ There are a number of eateries in World Trade and surrounding...

After checking out of the horrible Holiday Inn Beijing Downtown, I decided to try a better hotel chain. Knowing that the traders is owned by the Shangri-La group but with a lower price then the Shangri-La or China World hotels, I decided to give it a shot. The hotel is well located in the central business district, just a 5...

Having lived in this area of Beijing previously, the location suited me perfectly on my recent holiday. Close to Silk Market and lots of my favorite restaurants near by. The staff were excellent. Nothing was too much of a hassle for them. The hotel was immaculate. Highly recommend staying here.
