First stay at the Kerry Hotel in 2014, the overall atmosphere is very warm, the reception is very attentive, all the staff are very warm and friendly!
The hotel is conveniently located, the surrounding traffic is convenient, to Beijing's most famous Guijie is also just a ten minute drive!
The rooms are well equipped and all the toiletries and bedding are spotless, really making guests feel comfortable and enjoyable! Although in the city, the hotel is very soundproof, quiet and silent! That's my favorite one, too!
I am very happy to stay back at the Kerry Hotel for the past two years and feel very warm and welcoming! From the reception to the concierge to the aunt who organised the room was very polite! The front desk sister Sita was very friendly, she was patient and helpful and very dedicated! Always present when guests need it and the service is excellent! And thank you to customer service manager Rachel's sister, Mr. David, who worked so hard and always responded! Serve the people truly! Thank you, everyone. Kerry Hotel is the preferred choice for me and future companies staying in Beijing!

Unlike many other hotels, we were able to stay in one room at the Kerry Hotel. Our children are aged 6, 10 & 11.
Boh assisted me with my booking and was able to give me all the information I needed to all my questions. It was going to be our first time in Beijing and she definitely made me feel at ease with our needs.
From the moment we got off our taxi we were greeted with a warm welcome. Check in was very smooth and we were very impressed with what was available in the club lounge. Our room was better than I expected, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The first thing I always look out for is the cleanliness of the bathroom especially and I was not disappointed.
I don’t usually like breakfast buffets at hotels as they’re usually rather limited, but we were all very impressed with what was on offer here. Overall I would give Kerry Hotel a 10/10 in all aspects. Location was very convenient too. Would definitely recommend and would definitely be back! Thank you Boh for being amazing!
(Photos posted are screenshots of video clips i took from club longe afternoon tea, to room tour, to the hotel lobby and then the breakfast buffet area)

I was especially thankful for how the Kerry Hotel accommodated us on our day of checkout. We had been scheduled for an 11:40 PM flight from Beijing. Our tour company advised us that their representative would meet us at 7 PM for the transit to the airport. We asked the hotel if we could have a late checkout. They were unable to accommodate that request, but recommended that we asked the "Club Lounge" on the 18th floor if we could stay there until 7 PM instead of having to spend the time in the first floor lobby. The people on the 18th floor were very gracious to us, and made us feel at home. They provided coffee and tea during the day, and invited us to help ourselves to their buffet serving in the late afternoon. This made the start of a very long trip home much more pleasant than it would have been otherwise.

Our room (1435) was excellent in every regard, with a great view of the center Beijing business district. My only concern was the first floor evening dinner buffet (not the same as the 18th floor buffet cited above). I did not find much of what I would have enjoyed eating the night we ate there. In contrast, the breakfast there did have what I enjoyed eating.

The hotel is aging, the rooms are tired, the service is not at the level of a 5 star international hotel and staff does not speak English. The lobby is transformed into a Kindergarten every week-end, with clowns, games, and loud children. In the same spirit the executive lounge on the higher floor has become a play lounge for children who cannibalize the buffet. This used to be a decent value business hotel, it is now a second tier city type of establishment, mostly catering to mainland families visiting Beijing. The bar in the lobby is always empty. Avoid the place.

Old but still good for short stay.

Check in and out were awesome, staffs may not good with English but overall manageable.
Room is big as expected, free mini bar , room quiet dark but everything you need are there.

Only dislike part will be wifi - s
Concierge may give you a wifi key but it will not works, you will still authenticate the same via a valid phone number.

Location is strategic.

Food over lobby is quite repetitive and limited choices, less international enough.

Hotel limo pick up from hotel to airport was awesome, they will arrange an airport staff to help you for check in, security check, customs clearance, as well as escort to lounge.

Recommended.

Stayed here for three nights as part of a Viking River cruise.
The hotel is beautiful in style.
Rooms-
Very spacious. Mini bar, alarm clock, safe, chaise long, table, kettle with tea and coffee provided, wine glasses, bottle opener, stationary, slippers, ironing board, robes international power points, comfortable large beds, wardrobe space and bottled water provided.
Bathroom-
Bath, shower, latest tech toilet, clothes line, fluffy towels and flannels, toiletries e.g shower gel shampoo/conditioner and body lotion.
The hotel has a swimming pool, gym and sauna.
Meals in restaurant-
Something for everyone, an international choice, fantastic variety.
This hotel was great because we were on a tour, However, the location left a lot to be desired, if you wanted to go out walking, for a drink and to see some sights, you would be very disappointed, there isn’t much about.
Watch the footpaths outside, if it’s been raining, it can be very slippery.

A great parent-child tour, very professional reception staff, very well expressed, service thoughtful, attentive, warm. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are perfect, the treatment of children is very friendly, very suitable for family and children outings. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel was very attentive to decorating the room for the birthday of the children. There is also a children's playground in the hotel which is also very good. We'll bring the kids next time.

Satisfied with the morning buffet.
The menu ranges from Chinese to Western, and the noodles and Beijing yogurt were very good. There were only a few desserts in the fruit section, but there were porridge, noodles, dim sum, egg dishes, bread, salads and more.
Washlets are available in the rooms. It wasn't that big, but it had amenities (it said there was no toothpaste, but it was there). I didn't wear nightgowns on the first day, but I had a yukata the next day. If I told the front desk, they might have prepared me.
I don't use it, but there's a 24-hour gym, and there's so many machines, I'm sure gym-goers will love it. There is also a swimming pool with gym.
The Japanese staff seemed to be gone.

Good hotel to stay, cleaning room and efficient staff and excellent location ...Affected by the epidemic, not many guest there, but I get extraordinary care and good service from lounge. Doris could always remember my name and dietary habits,I don't need to ask to prepare my favorite wine every time. Betty help me a lot too, Once, she found a shoe repair shop for me when I needed it and thoughtfully prepared a map for me. Also thanks for Micheal, a good manager of lounge. I’ll be back in next time.

I stayed in this hotel about 50-100 nights before. This time is the worst experience here. I checked in around 8pm tonight. The reception is impolite. I asked for allowing me to have breakfast in lounge as I did not want to have buffet breakfast in big restaurant. She just told me I needed to pay for the upgrade. After a while, I noted that the breakfast is relocated to lounge already as occupancy is too low. Then seems problem solved. But she still reminds me to require for paying extra if I use the lounge in the afternoon or evening. Come on. 1. I don’t feel any welcoming like Shangrila 2. She does not tell me the breakfast already relocated to lounge and just ask me to pay more money. 3. She still keeps asking me to pay more for using the lounge.

For a customer staying in the hotel so many nights, for a customer still staying here for a week in pandemic, for the brand of your hotel, do I deserve a better service? Disappointed.

Beijing is big. There is no place close to everything you listed. The area near the Kerry is a good location with many options. The traffic can get bad in the early evening. I have had good stays at both the Kerry and Hotel Jen. Kerry has more foreigners than the Hotel Jen.
