Average hotel with some English speaking workers Good breakfast and dinner buffet served quite early (over by 7pm). Food is a hybrid of Chinese and English cuisine, the 3rd floor restaurant and 1st floor restaurants Cleanliness is average and cigarette smoke is everywhere Hotel could do with a face lift and newer lined Decent mid-range hotel

After staying in one of the great luxury hotels in a provincial city, I was badly disappointed by this hotel. It reminded me of a "good" hotel from the 1980s in the Soviet Union. Nice lobby, attentive staff, fairly modern facilities (elevators with touch pads for buttons!). But the corridors and room, by American standards, belongs in a slightly shady...

The Beijing Debao Hotel is located near the second ring road, so it is fairly close to the centre of the city. It is close to North Beijing underground railway station, allowing easy reach to most of the city's attractions. There are plenty of retail shops and food outlets nearby, bot traditional Chinese and western fast food joints. The main...

Clean room. Bed was terrible - clean and nicely fitted, but hard as a rock. It's a little old and in need of a facelift. Bath moldy - they've not yet mastered the art of caulking shower surrounds. Would return for a one-night stopover, but no more.

Stayed here for 2 days on business nearby. It's old and tired and needs a complete revamp . The beds are like sleeping on concrete and the bathroom ceiling was mouldy. The air conditioning was freezing but fixed and could not be adjusted. The rooms are small and carpet dirty. Cleaning was very ordinary . Breakfast was very poor with...

Beijing Hotels can be pricey, though this hotel was quite reasonable. The rooms were clean, the service was minimal. Morning breakfast was not included in the room cost. The food was plain. There is a big shopping mall with many restaurants near by.

This place is perfectly reasonable for the price--I paid 600 RMB for a room on the executive floor. There is no wifi in the rooms (you'll need an Ethernet cable), but since my laptop has no Ethernet port I made a fuss and they finally came up with a little router to put in the room, which worked fine. The...

Let me start by saying that altogether the hotel was alright. Yes, the staff did not speak much English. This is China. The room was moderately clean, with a decent bed. The WiFi offered average speeds, so no complaints there. With this in mind, there was one very irritating issue, and that is cigarette smoke coming in from adjacent rooms,...

Stayed for a few days at the Debao whilst on business in Beijing. The hotel is within walking distance of the Beijing North Railway station which is one Subway Line 2 (blue line) from Dongzhimen station which is the terminus for the airport express, it is also within walking distance of the Beijing exhibition center and Beijing Zoo. The rooms...

Fine basic hotel very close to the exhibition center, 5 minutes walk. Rooms (regular) are very basic and not very new. Services of the hotel are basic. Breakfast is not bad and give normal variety to foreigners too. Free internet (wired) in rooms and free wireless internet in the lobby. English level of most of the hotel employees is pretty...
