This hotel probably has better years behind it. It seems to be well supported by Tour Groups, but even then, finding someone who can understand and speak English was difficult...and nobody rushes to welcome or help you. The room was OK, but hairs in the sink and old soap stains in the soap dish in the bathroom a bit off-...

Passing by Beijing 3 nights in Jianguo hotel quite appreciated. Hotel in the city center with a metro very close ans close too to Tienamen place adding possibility f touristic view even with short free timeing. Many restaurant close by in the street around, a lot of shopping and shopping mall. A surprise when coming from western country, staff never...

Good location, a few min from a metro stop and approx 20min walk to the Forbidden city. Room for three persons was large and comfortable, third bed was even in a separate room. Breakfast offer was good, a lot of choices but mainly Asian cuisine. Service was less good, English poorly spoken, no free maps of Beijing available, etc. Reasonable...

Old and run down, needs a renovation badly. Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Old furniture in the room; the bathroom tile and the tub are covered with mold, the bathroom lighting is so poor I had a difficult time shaving. The hotel offers WiFi in the rooms, but be prepared that it's very slow and often completely down. If you...

Hotel is a 4 star in Beijing but I would say 3 star in uk. Room was dusty in places. The main lobby was nice but if ordering a drink don't order wine as it was the smallest glass I have seen in my life lol But overall nice stay, room okay, good location and the staff were very helpful.

...which is why I chose this opera-themed hotel for my first-ever visit to Beijing (the North City). The Liyuan Theatre, located on the lobby level, has nightly performances of Peking/Beijing Opera excerpts -- a "sampler" of comedy, tragedy, and romance scenes. An English-speaking staffer stayed in contact throughout my bullet train journey to Beijing (the North City) providing encouragement and...

Good 4 star hotel near Hufangqiao MRT on line 7, about 7 mins walk. Convenient to Beijing West Railway station where I was headed after check out. Good facilities and nice sized and comfortable. Reasonable priced for a 4 star too. But could stay nearer to the central nearer to MRT Line 2.

Reasonable hotel, rooms compact however everything you need is there. Hotel staff very helpful. Road works going on outside my room, asked if I could move no issue was in my new room within 20 minutes. Good breakfast buffet. Close proximity to tourist sites. Has in house ATM and currency exchange.

Shabby hotel, dirty--from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms. You could even see the dirt. The room safe was busted (looked like a hammer hit it), the tub was peeling porcelain, the walls were filthy.

Simple, somewhat dated room but clean and everything worked. Amenities very plain and frankly not very nice, so pack your own shampoo and soap. The free internet was the best part and breakfast was surprisingly good. One warning: the mattress was way too soft for me; I don't know if I could have asked for a different mattress or not...
