Large high rise hotel. Large breakfast, serving both Western and Asian breakfast items. Location near a KFC and McDonalds both serving a menu not served in Atlanta. Great health spots message parlors near where you can by a week of messages for about 20 bucks. Well worth it after a day of sight seeing. Grab a cab go anywhere Roast... More

The beds are like concrete and the entire hotel smells of smoke it has seeped deep into the walls. The service is average and the position not ideal for Beijing sightseeing. If you can stay somewhere else then make sure to do so. If you must stay, the Chinese restaurant downstairs is good and the beers are much cheaper there... More

The location is good. But the hotel is very badly managed. The facilities and food are of very low quality. Shower doors do not block water. If you are a non-smoker, you will be in hell. Rooms are filthy and smell very very bad bad.

The hotel appears to have the services that would qualify it as a 5-star hotel, but it does not feel like it. This is my second stay in this hotel, and things have not improved in 2 years. My main gripes are the breakfast because the poor variety of offerings. The hotel room basically has no temperature control unless you... More

Room was ok, hotel service was ok, free breakfast was good. But, no Wi-Fi in room so you have to be in the hotel lobby to get connected. Smoking in rooms was allowed, was not a good thing especially when it was also allowed in the lobby where guests are trying to connect to internet.

This hotel seems to be fading from previous glory. It is not particularly well kept up. It was clean, so I was able to give it an average rating, but the room was hot, the fabrics stained, the hallway musty, and the breakfast only modest. Even the staff members, usually the highlight of a Chinese hotel, are subdued, quiet, and... More

THis hotel is very convenient if you are going to do business in the Zhongguancun technology area, and still convenient to visit the Summer Palace or the Botanical Garden. It is walking distance from subway line 10 stations. The rooms are good even though they are about 10 years old. The service is good and the staff speaks english. Also,... More

Looked like a more traditional styled Chinese Hotel. Comfortable. Really bad internet connection, had to use my own hotspot. Breakfast spread was very good. Communication is always a problem in Chinese hotels. A contonese restaurant inside the hotel is excellent, had some of the best food.

I stayed in room 747 from May 20-25, 2014 with my wife and two young kids (ages 4 and 6). I have stayed in a lot of different hotels in the USA, Hong Kong and Shenzhen (China), this this hotel was definitely sub-par compared to the ones I have stayed at.
