This hotel offers a rare experience for the business traveller. The rooms are large enough and comfortable. I particularly rate the drinking water tap filter which minimises the use of plastic bottles to near zero. The room waste is kept to a minimum but the facilities are great, offering a really nice gym that has day light and isn't stuck in a basement, as well as a stretch studio which was never busy when I was there. Breakfast is a feast of all things you could want, healthy Western as well as Chinease food and good coffee! The staff go out of their way for you, and are super helpful and follow up. The hotel is a 20 min ride from the new PEK airport and on a mall which has some good local restaurants as well as fast food chains. It is also on the subway which makes is super easy to navigate the city from there as well as walkable to the arts complex about 25 mins away. The area is in construction and it will only be changing to become even more visitor friendly, I look forward to the river side being finished and being able to take a walk or run along it in the future. I will definitely return to this hotel!

Spent there 2 weeks on a business trip in Dec 24 and it was perfect. Room was nice, cozy, clean. Personnel were friendly and supportive. Breakfast was awesome. The hotel is located right next to a big shopping mall with several restaurants, shops and a supermarket. If I go to Beijing again, I definitely would choose this hotel.

Recently stayed for a week and had a room with a corner view. Room was average size but well appointed, our view unfortunately looked straight out onto a three (large) building construction site. Anyway, rooms are more for business orientated clients, hard wood floors throughout make for easier cleaning etc but reduce the degree or feel of comfort for those there as a tourist. Had some USB charge ports by the bedside which was great but only on one side (right) which was puzzling. Never have to many of these when traveling. Neighbourhood is residential so has many locals wandering around which we found enjoyable to experience, ate at a local nearby restaurant which was very tasty and good on the budget. Hotel is very close (100m) to subway (Line 14) and hotel is also attached to shopping mall which was handy. Great little supermarket on the ground floor for essentials and a great beer selection. Morning breakfasts were good, nice coffee and friendly staff. Good food selection and hotel was generous with us taking a small snack for later on (nice touch). Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others.

I had a wonderful experience at the East Beijing: rooms are very clean and modern - you may also drink tap water which is properly filtered - , breakfast features many different plates and an original, Italian barista machine. The personnel is extremely kind and helps you with all your needs. The Hotel has direct access to a modern shopping mall, where you get access to many restaurants. Swimming pool and fitness studio are also modern. Special thanks to the personnel of the hotel for all the help and assistance during my stay!

New and modern hotel. Rooms are nice, maybe a little bit smaller than in other hotels in the same price category. The rooms have large windows from top to bottom which allow a lot of light into the room. The wood on the side and the floor feels very comfortable and cosy. The bathroom has a nice shower. The breakfast offers a very large selection of western and Asian food. When meeting guests or business partners, the hotel offers space to sit down quietly with a tea. Not the best hotel I have stayed in Beijing, but very close to it. One big advantage is definitly the comparible short distance to Capital Airport (PEK) which was the reason for us to select this hotel avoiding an additional hour through Beijing traffic.

The East is at a very convenient location, where a high-end mall and metro are just next door. The rooms are fully equipped with in room heater, so you won't feel a sense of coldness in freezing winter. Also the rooms are spacious and with bedside panal to control all lighting and curtains. Staff are polite and helpful to give you the best hospitality.

I cannot fault anything in this hotel. Rooms are of decent size, with coffee press, good organic coffee (complimentary) mini fridge in the room. Breakfast had loads of variety and they even made some custom dishes for me as I am vegetarian. Lots of fruits/breads, noodles fried rice and barista coffee. There is a mall next door and you can access the mall from hotel only. Subway station is a 2-3 mins walk too. Overall a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend.

I believe there are 25 floors with the top two being the executive suites. The rooms on the east side of the hotel tend to be slightly larger since the hotel is curved. The corner rooms are larger than other rooms and offer more windows for better views.
