Happy with the staff. Most speak English and that was a very big plus. It is also nearby Wang Fu Jing Street, which is "Snack Street." It's pretty awesome at night when the lanterns are lit up. The buffet was great too!

We stayed three nights in the Jade Garden in May of 2016. I really enjoyed the hotel. It couldn't be more conveniently located - turn left out the front door, walk a couple of blocks, and you run into the Forbidden City. Turn right and walk a couple of blocks and you're in the main downtown shopping area. We stayed...

If you make use of the 72 hours visum in Beijing this is a perfect stay: Close vicinity to the vorbidden city and many other hot spots. Take a taxi from the airport ( but dont go to the taxi counter, go to a taxi directly or you pay triple price! It should be around 120 yuan). The hotel boasts...

We stayed here during a recent layover in Beijing. The location between the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Shopping Street allowed us to make the most of our short time in the city. The room wasn't fancy but had all the amenities we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We were concerned that we might have problems checking in...

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the centre of Beijing. The staff were very helpful although not all of them spoke English they always found someone who could translate. Our room was clean and had the usual toiletries and coffee making facilities.

Hotel is in a great location: quick walk to Forbidden City, Wangfujing shopping area, subway stops and great restaurants are nearby; also the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated and bathroom was in need of a reno but everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is also an onsite tourist office where you...

The desk staff were very helpful although they had limited English. Breakfast choice was considerable but expensive (68RMB) if you eat there every day. Cleaning staff, concierge, all did a great job. Hotel centrally located but 20 min walk to subway whichever way you go. Be advised, I had to pay the full amount as a deposit when I arrived....

Yes the rooms are a bit tired compared to the Sheratons of the world but the rooms are a good size, have good bathrooms and all the usual facilities. This is a fantastic location within easy walking distance of the Forbidden City and the other inner city sights. Don't worry about eating in the hotel as there are numerous good...

This hotel was booked through a Chinese tour company. It has an interesting history as a command center for the CCP, but the rooms are quite dated with dirty carpets and smell of insecticide. The staff at the front desk was as helpful as possible with limited English. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The location was not an issue for...

Stayed for two nights last week and, although I didn't hate it, would find a different place if in Beijing again. My guide recommended the hotel so the location was convenient for the major sights. The room was mostly clean, but the carpet inspired me to wear slippers at all times. Good shower and wifi worked well. Breakfast is worth...
