I stayed two bites and hosted a conference at Ritz Carlton Financial Street, Beijing. The staff were very well trained and sensitive to small nuances in customer needs and expectations. It was the small things with the random staff in moments when I was anonymous. Karan Jain the general manager had clearly drilled the organisation really well. Most staff were in problem solving mode for the customer.
After staying at the other Ritz Carlton Beijing, I thought I would try the other property located at Financial Street. Overall the stay was underwhelming, yet it wasn't terrible. The lounge food and service was not comparable to the other RC and the property didn't have the Ritz Carlton vibe. The area surrounding the hotel is very commercial and there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity
From the moment we entered, everything was perfect. Check-in was smooth and efficient, Victor, the director of rooms, escorted us to our suite and gave us an overview of the property and surrounding area. Suite had great views, service was top-notch, and we loved that the breakfast had a few local a la carte choice. The shopping mall connected to the property has a few great places to eat and there is also a bar within walking distance. Overall, great place if you're looking for a staycation or visiting Beijing.
I'm writing to appreciate the high standards of luxury service for my family stay at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street. Especially thanks to GM Mr. Karan Jain who arranged everything that I asked for celebrating my mother's birthday, and even wrote a warm handwritten letter to welcome us. Besides, I want to particularly thanks Ripple Pan, she prepared all the details in advance perfectly for us, the elaborate preparations of the whole teams, such as instant photo, birthday decoration, beautiful designed handwritten card, made us feel surprised and comfortable. I also would like to thanks Sunny (Front office manager), Li Na (staff of Qi) who provided attentive and professional service during our stay. My family had a warm memory and beautiful time at the hotel, thanks again to all of you and please convey my sincere appreciation. …
That’s the first time staying in Beijing with my mummy, to corresponding local CNY policy. The operation team of Ritz Financial St prepared a lot of surprises for us, which made us feel the warmth of home on New Year's Eve in Beijing. Maybe the best choice to enjoy the Chinese New Year in the city center. According to the loc policy of gov, most people in China staying in their working city for the New Year this holiday, instead of their hometown. Thank the hotel staff for providing guests with extraordinary service. We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Qi. Since my mother is a vegetarian, the staff ordered the food provided us with a customized menu, which left us a EXCELLENT impression. Qi dishes are also very exquisite, it is a very delicious Cantonese restaurant. The Ritz-Carlton BJ Financial St is the second Ritz-Carlton in China. Thanks so much for the GREAT guest service teams. Special thanks to Sunny for the room layout and communication during our stay to understand our needs; special thanks to Ripple and Steven at the front desk; thanks to Weixing Gao, Sam, April and Daisy for their help and concern during our stay. Looking forward to the next trip.…
Visit with company here for two nights, everything isperfect. Where we went, everybody greeted US witha smile and remember our name. They can anticipated our neNs before we asking. It's So touched and mem6Pable. Will come back again forsure.
This was the second time to be here. Good location, even it is not a new hotel, the staffs were kind and arranged nice room for me. Only less choice for breakfast. Spa and swimming pool are closed during pandemic.
We have stayed at this property before and have never been disappointed (and frankly that is hard to say about any Marriott property since they have become a monopoly with a typical monopoly mentality...like USA airlines). Service was outstanding not for just for us but for every guest we observed. The property is spotless...the food is outstanding and diverse...and they took every precaution we could think of due to the Novel Coronavirus. The leadership (Karan; Oliver; Anne; etc) was VISIBLE and PROACTIVE...how often have you stayed at property where not only never see leadership but also are never available! This property should always be your first choice when planning a trip to Beijing!
I was staying at this property while I was visiting Beijing. As a Titanium member, I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a Premier Suite. The suite was spacious, but the suite is more like an open 1-bedroom. I have personally been a big fan of the Ritz-Carlton brand, unfortunately I personally would not recommend this property since this is getting a bit old with dated decor. I believe they are working on it and I heard they were renovating their rooms. When it comes to service, I felt a bit disappointed with this property since I felt the staff did not have much training and they could have done a better job. That being said, this property is in a very nice neighborhood and is right next to a high end shopping mall. If I do every stay at this property again, I hope it will be a better experience. Mr. Lai…
My wife and I were on our last leg of our Asia Baby Moon Vacation which included Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and then finally China. When we were leaving Japan into China we received crushing news that due to some Visa laws and us bouncing from country to country we were not going to be allowed into China more than 24 hours. This crushed us, however at this point we just wanted to get home. We were at the Ritz less than eight hours in between flights. Exhausted, disappointed and about to take a 15 hour flight back to LA. We met Victor Wang (Assistant Director of Rooms) at the Club Lounge for breakfast. Victor introduced himself, and heard our tragic story. Victor was genuinely empathetic, and gave us some advice on visiting China and wanted to us to come back with our newborn. Upon departure we saw Victor in the lobby once again. He had a gift for us, an authentic piece of China for us to take back home and always remember our short time in China. Victor also arranged our transportation to the Airport with a Ritz transportation upgrade. Victor made our time in China memorable, and even though we initially were frustrated and said we did not want to come back to China, Victor's actions and genuine caring attitude changed everything. Thank you Victor, we will be back to China, and Beijing specifically!…
