I've stayed at Leo Hostel many, many times. I tried to count it out but it seems like I always stay at Leo when I go to Beijing. It's a fantastic place to meet people and the staff are always super friendly. There have been a couple of times where I've gone and extended my stay because I met someone...

Leo Hostel is well located, close from the Tiananmen place, the Forbidden City and the National Museum. However, this place is really overrated. Negative points: very dirty bathroom, no hot water in the dorm's bathroom, noisy (the music is very loud and there is no quiet place in this hostel), no kitchen (but of course you can buy expensive plates,...

We were two sisters who stayd at this hostel, we think the hostel was ok. They smoked in the restaurant, the room wasnt that clean and the toilets wasnt that fresh, the stuff wasnt that nice and helpful. But we had a good stay anyway. Really nice international street outside and the best location!

We stayed here on a tour. The location is amazing, tucked down a hutong five minutes from Tianamen Square, with options for food and shopping, traditional hutongs and other sights nearby. There is a very nice seating area and restaurant, another seating area behind with plants and fish, and a pool table upstairs. The food is very good but really...

Great location, staff speaks English (which is not so common in China.) If you wish for a double room for a couple it is expensive seeing as they charge per head and not per room. We arranged our trip and permit to Tibet through them as well, which tuned out great. They allow smoking indoors which is unpleasant for the...

This hostel was great about price and location. but I am doing this opinion note because I must say all the toilets and bathrooms in the hostel were absolutly DISGUSTING. the restaurant and the the common areas were really nice, but once u get into the rooms.... it is really bad that all the outside appeareance is great and then...

Friendly English speaking staff, great location, free Wifi. The restaurant/bar area is really nice and comfy as well as reasonably priced. The secret wall tour is a must but don't expect much from the tour guide, he pretty much gets you to the wall you have 3 hours on the wall on your own, hardly any tourist around then make...

Although this hostel was clean and friendly it was freezing cold because their heating was broken. I ended up with the flu. I dont advise staying here in Winter, unless they do something substantial to address the heating problem. Also secret wall tour advertised did not run due to a problem with the car.

Good amenities, clean and easy to reach, helpful staff. I wouldn't recommend booking train tickets through the desk though, 30 yuan per ticket is quite a big surcharge. Also, when trying to buy a SIM card, they will direct you to the China Mobile shop next door - that will most likely rip you off.
