My sister and I stayed here before and after a tour on the Great Wall. The check in staff were friendly and our room was clean. The hotel is in a great location and the tour office within the hotel is really helpful if you want to book anything - and they also speak great English compared to reception staff....

Enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the metro station was right next to the hotel. The bakery attached to the hotel has tasty offerings. There is a dumpling store right around the corner with great food! There is always a line so you know it's good. Would stay again.

This hotel served my purpose as far as being a clean room and bathroom and a comfortable bed. As an English only speaker however I found the staff unsuitable for international guests. Local Chinese guests were put ahead of me in the queue to check-in and the english speaking front of house staff had to be summoned and were disgruntled...

I was expecting worse having read some of the reviews before going, but overall I like this hotel. All rooms are non-smoking which I was pleased about, check-in was painless and the receptionist connected my Ipad to the internet for me as I checked in. Rooms basic, but comfy enough, it could do with a refurb' but essentials are there....

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour group so did no research ahead of booking, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The location is fantastic; there is Chongwenmen metro station right next to the hotel entrance which is on two of the major Beijing subway lines meaning you can access pretty much...

This hotel is situated on a corner of a major intersection. It is in the middle of 2 different train stations and close to some amazing shopping centres. Perfect for what we wanted and friendly staff. They don't understand English very well but they do try.

I stayed here as part of a G adventures tour and thought it was pretty reasonable. Very easy to get to and find from the metro (literally exit the station and look up!) Decent quality room though the air con didn't work and we couldn't open the windows. Good breakfast on offer for a good price too.

As with other reviews this was the starting hotel for G Adventures Wild China. Great convenient location. Room was clean & tidy and ridiculously warm in the room. Ince the window was open. .. a nice temperature. Great view from the 6th floor viewing windows. And good shower pressure. Bed a little on the hard side. But great pillows.

We stayed here for a week in February. It was very cold outside but the hotel was nice and warm. The rooms have everything we needed for our stay however the hotel says more than it has. There was no fitness suite anywhere, it also advises a washing machine room and a business centre both were locked when we asked...

Booked together with our flights from the UK as part of a 72 hour visa-free stay in Beijing, on paper it met our requirements adequately. The interior was a little dated but everything was clean and the room a good size. A 300 room 'business' hotel, not big by Beijing standards, the Chongwenmen provided a friendly, efficient service. Our taxi...
