Very budget hotel. From pluses: good location. Within walking distance of several Beijing attractions, metro. Breakfast is two eggs, toast with butter and jam, tea, coffee, and it's almost everything. Eggs you have to cook yourself. For my friends it was not a problem. Nearby are many cafes, but be prepared for the fact that the toilets in cafe are...

Granted, this is bottom-end, budget accommodation – uncomfortable beds, heating doesn’t work (it was bitterly cold in December!), constant strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout etc, but I was very happy with the location within the city: within good walking distances of underground stations, shops, plenty of restaurants, both Chinese and western (Mcdonalds, KFC); I enjoyed the simple, self-service breakfast...

We arrived late on a busy weekend so I am pretty sure we got one of the last rooms. The hotel itself is in a great location in the middle of the old part of town, close to the subway. Our room was very small, which is to be expected and didn't bother me. The beds were rock hard, which...

You get what you pay for. do your research first. Great little hotel in the heart of beijing's historic hutong area. Quiet and spacious rooms . Brush up on your Mandarin. The staff struggle with English. There's a great little cafe next door and plenty of food stalls nearby to get your sour milk and breadstick breakfast

+ Close to tube station (Gulojidae - exit G, second left down an alley) + Close to some nice cheap restaurant (but bare in mind the one on the corner of this street charges you to use the plates!) + Near Drum Towers + Heater works well + Receptionist is nice - Although they come in everyday to restock toothbrush...

The room was nice there was loads of seeds on the side of the bed near the wall but apart from that it was very clean. There was no breakfast but the location was good and the staff were friendly. For the price it was very good.

More suited to the nationals than overseas visitors. Staff were pleasant but lacked English communication skills. To a first timer in Beijing from Australia, information was difficult to obtain. The room was fresh and secure with window and quiet at night, cleaned daily but not restocked. Clean onsuit with sit on toilet. At Y258 per day, l would certainly visit...

Excellent choice for visiting Beijing - everything is practically nearby (considering accessing with public transport); prices are moderate, the same is with service - they care more or less for payment upon arrival and that's it. English is communicated via phone translator what is better as elsevere. Wi-fi is good in the room but in the garden it is not...

A great little hotel in the Hutongs area. Good value. Small rooms. Clean. Staff were very friendly. Handy location for the tube. Lots of places to eat nearby and just around the corner from the drum and bell towers. Ideal for a night or two.

For those on a budget, this hotel is good. It is located in the old area of Beijing, but there is a train station just down the road, so its easy to get around. The rooms are quite basic, and a little small. There are plenty of little interesting places around the lane ways to explore. Overall, not a bad...
