The major problem with this hotel is that one cannot speak to the Manager directly as he speaks no English. We had many problems especially with housekeeping but had to speak to some junior staff who spoke a smattering of English but were never satisfied with the resolution of the problem. The toiletries are stingy. The soaps are so small...

i book a double room from a travel agent. while the location is cental, it cost me rmb 30 to get from Bejing south station to the hotel hidden behind hawker stalls. The hotel is 4 storey hign, I paid rmb 60 more for a room with a window, unfortunately, the view is an airwell as surrounding building block all...

Stayed 3 nights from end of November to early December 2008. I am most impressed that the hotel web master personally came to set up my computer for internet connection within minutes and don't charge a single cent for service fees. No complaints on other amenities. Fridge is well stocked with soft drinks and beer, personal safe is ready for...

Stayed at the Wancheng Hua Fu Hotel for 3 nights. A few observations: 1) This hotel isn't very convenient for those who don't speak Chinese. Front desk staff speaks very basic English, this can get difficult if you have questions about booking tours and issues beyond check-in and check-out. 2) Location is central (two blocks to East Gate of Forbidden...
