We came here on a Sunday when our original plan was supposedly to do this on a Monday. Our guide decided to put this together with our trip to the great wall which is on a sunday so we had no choice but to brave mixing it up with the locals. For a February afternoon winter season, the resort was...

I had a nice enough room in building 16 on the 11th floor, with a great view after the storms blew away the smog. Bed comfy View great Fridge a bit hot Tug very small Some of my friends here for the meeting had problems with fridge, WiFi, maids coming in without knocking. But it's remote, only staffed with temporary...

I stayed here because it was the location for a seminar I participated in. It has been by far the worst hotel I stayed in since long. The rooms are in a terrrible shape, worn down, tapestry hanging loose, mold behind those behind those loose tapestries as well as in the shower, hair on the pillows from previous guests. The...

Note that there are several hotels related to Juihua Resort; I stayed in the 16区 hotel. I was placed there hotel because my A380 flight was delayed, I assume because it is a hotel big enough to accommodate the approx. 500 guests arriving between 01:00 and 02:00 am. What a logistic operation! Although the hotel was very big, only two...

We recently stayed here. The website is HIGHLY out of date. Most of the area was closed down and they were now in one building. The outside looks amazing. The rooms are very poor and dirty. You had to pay for EVERYTHING in the hotel (pool, hot spring/spa, kids room, pool table, breakfast. NOTHING was included in the price. This...

If you are visiting Beijing purely to see the sights, then a quick glance at a map will tell you this is not the ideal location to stay. Located in Champing a good 45 mins drive north of the city, Jiuhua really is a place for locals to visit. Like most places of its ilk in China, Jiuhua is a...

It is that we are here on a conference that we had to stay in thia hotel. Otherwise it is right in the middle of nowhere. The nearest wu mart is a solid 25 minutes walk away through dusty roads. No plus points as now it is almost 5 below freezing temperature. A taxi ride from here to wangfujing would...

I stayed here for 4 days in October 2013 for a conference. The hotel is comfortable with large rooms and a hot spring in each room. The included breakfast buffet is good - typical Chinese breakfast. Lunch was also good. So, even though the wifi access was pretty inconsistent and troublesome, the property itself is fine. That said, this is...

The Jiuhua Resort and Convention Center is a huge place but that time towards the end of August 2013 the places were undergoing major reconstruction. nevertheless the convention halls are overall okay which can house more than 900 crowds. The Section I was staying (16 or 15) has no Wifi and that is really not convenient. The room has its...
