Booked through an old fashioned travel agent, we'd read reviews and knew where the place was. This was enough for us. We wanted to see Beijing, not a hotel. The staff were great, and took to our daughter who spoke Mandarin better than my wife or myself. Even walked us around one night to help us locate a restaurant. As...

I booked this hotel after reading TA reviews, because of budget i chose the basement room, here's my honest review. 1. Location Superb location, very near to forbidden city and wangfujing (both walking distance). About 5-10 mins walk to subway. But finding this hotel can be tricky if you don't have a map or gps. please do research in advance....

We stayed in a Deluxe Queen facing the Hutong for CNY350 per night. The bed a bit too hard and the pillows are too soft. However, the staff were very helpful and excellent. Extended stay allowed until 6pm for half rate. Within walking distance to some attractions, 1.5km to Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square as well as 500m to Wangfujing...

We stayed at Days Inn Forbidden City from 12/26/16-1/2/17. It was located in a great location just 2 short blocks from Wangfujing St., about a 5 minute walk to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City and other great sites in Beijing. It is an unbeatable price for the location. The rooms are average but clean. I would definitely stay here again...

I just can comment that this hotel was about average rate only. For me their room space was a bit small and not so comfort even to fit for 2 person. All of their facilities and room condition were not so excellent like what I have been told in the internet during I book this hotel. The worst part was...

The hotel was exactly as advertised and reviewed. A brilliant location with friendly staff who spoke English. The breakfast was tolerable but not worth the money but otherwise the hotel could not be faulted

I stayed for 4 nights in Nov 16. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR. For the unbeatably good low price, we got an accomodation: (1) Near both WANGFUJING & TIANANMEN EAST subway stations - This was v impt to us as we organised our entire trip around the subway (2) Walking distance to Tiananmen and Wangfujing - These are two...

I haave stayed here on a few occasions before. The main reason for chosing this hotel has been price and location. On previous occasions I have had better rooms, on this occasion I ended up in the basement - I must have missed some small print when booking. The location is great, walking distance from Wangfujing and Tiananmen. At the...

First things first the location is very good. A short walk from the Forbidden city and Tiananmen Square, food street there are few better areas or locations you would want to pick to stay in Beijing. Secondly the rooms are more than adequate the beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean and water pressure was strong and warm,...

The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the Forbidden City and a two minute walk from Tiananmen Square and five minutes from Wangfujing Street shops and restaurants. It consists of a number of buildings in a courtyard setting among mature trees and is quite attractive. Taxi fare is about 120 CNY from Capital. We arrived late and were met by...
