The hotel has all the modern amenities for a very comfortable stay. It has a great location - close proximity to all the main places of interest, food and shopping. There are 2 nearby subway stations that can let you travel around Beijing. And if you can always tap the Concierge Desk to help you on how to navigate around town, especially on how to register for tickets for admission to the popular tourist sites.

Went to Beijing for the 1st time and stayed at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel from 9-15 Nov '23. It was a very pleasant experience! The hotel is conveniently located near Wangfujing shopping area, just a 10-minute walk down a straight road. The area is very safe, with a convenient store directly across from the hotel. The room rate is very affordable, and the room itself is spacious and well-maintained. The hotel staff at the reception, including Sarah, are very professional and helpful. The concierge staff is equally helpful. Most of the staff can speak English, although it was not a big issue for us as I speak Mandarin. I want to mention the restaurant manager, Joyce (I think that's her name), at the lounge restaurant. She recognized us from dinner the night before and came to greet us at breakfast when she saw us. This is customer service and definitely worth a mention. If you are visiting Beijing 1st time, Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing is an absolute good choice. If I go back there again, will definitely choose to stay here again!

If you plan on exploring downtown BJ, this hotel works perfectly. Room was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location can’t be beat Subway is nearby, the walking part of Wangfujing is a short walk away, with all the shopping and restaurants you could possibly need. The art gallery, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Jingshan Park are all close by. Have no issue recommending this hotel and would stay here again.

It has been a long time to visit the hotel again, all the good memory here before the pandemic. I arrived late and the room they provided was quite worse, so next day they helped to move to the other room. However, it was very smelly and cigarette smoke smell in the room, even they provide the air purifier but still can't make the air better. Therefore, I changed the room again with the Aaron's help. The longue staff are needed to be trained again since lots of staff are young and quite new. the good thing is they show their enthusiasm. The swimming pool is the place I like and can relax after the busy meetings. Overall, if the staff can perform more professional, the room can be much cleaner and fixed some issues, then next time should receive the higher ranking.

It is fine from the total especially about the location and the cheap price. On the one hand, firstly from the side such as location,it is really close to Wangfujing Main Street, perhaps 3 to 5 mins on foot. Secondly, the price is really cheap than other hotels around the same area. On the other, the hotel should pay more attention on the security part( the photo shows)

Great location and good hotel facilities. But beyond that, the helping staff! From restaurants to reception, lounge and housekeeping all staff are friendly, English speaking and super helping. I must mention Lucy's name from front desk, from the minute we arrived she helped us with arranging us a room with Forbidden City view, recommending and reserving the restaurants and (lifesaver) found us a bottle of contact lens solution in a minute. It's really not what you get everywhere, beyond my expectations! I will come back definitely.

The location of the hotel is perfect for my trip. The interior design of the lobby and the small decor in the corridor and in the room matches the theme of its location, right next to the forbidden city. The planning of the use of space were well implemented, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I stayed at this hotel for about 3 weeks including the 10.1 golden week. There were times that were packed and also times with only a few guests, but the staff at the hotel would do their best to serve regardlessly, from the concierge, front desk, the lady who make up my room, and every staff at the lounge. I enjoyed my experience here very much. Thank you!

I booked two double beds with the forbidden city view and executive lounge access rooms. We checked in at around 2:30 pm, and only one room was ready. When asked when the other room will be ready, they couldn't give a time. So we waited in the first room. The view from the room was just a partial view of the forbidden city. If I knew twin rooms only have a partial view, I would not have booked it. It should be stated on the website. Half an hour later, we called to ask when the 2nd room might be ready, and they said around 4. So we went for a swim. When we returned to the room at 4:30 p.m, there was no news about the 2nd room, so we called the reception again, and they said the room wasn't ready. I was furious ! not only have I never had to wait this long for a room, but I had to take the initiative to find out the status of my room when it's the hotel's responsibility to keep me updated. So I just asked them to give me any available room. The executive lounge was sad, with limited drink and food options. I'm glad I only stayed a night. I will not be coming back to this hotel.
