Room was adequate. Most guests here are On group tours. This means reception staff do not get much practice with English speakers. Don't try anything more complex than subjects they understand like "laundry". Good service on laundry.

Average hotel. Perfect for those visiting as holidaymakers. Walk to Tianamen Square and Forbidden City. Good sized rooms. Make sure no smokers before hand BBC available on TV. WI-fi free although not brilliant. Coffee shop expensive; £6 for coffee.

Clean hotel in a quiet area. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Hotel was close to day and night markets. i travel with a tour group so didn't mind the location since we had a bus to drive us to all the city center sites (Forbiden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, ) If travelling on your own, a taxi will...

Not far from transport. Comfortable stay. Rooms adequate. Breakfast generous with plenty of variety. Enjoyed the courtyard bar/cafe. Handy ATM inside the hotel Good WiFi Only...

As a solo traveller into Beijing I had the cheerful, smiling and welcoming greeting of Crystal on arrival at Beijing International. This lady is a star. Attention to detail is her asset. As is her promptness, enthusiasm, politeness and aim to assist. Nothing was a bother for her-even my 6am hotel departure after she had already been at the airport...

The staff was very accommodating, and because the standard rooms were fully booked we were given a celebrity room which overlooked the historic courtyard. The room was quiet, with vintage matching furniture throughout the room. Although the lighting in the bathroom and by the bedside was less that we would have expected, the room had all the other features one...

We were guests for three nights as part of a private guide tour by Chinahighlights. The hotel is not really centrally situated so you must walk quite a way along a non touristic road and then use the excellent metro and hope an English speaker can help you. Our room was nice. Situated far at the back of the huge...

This hotel was used as the meeting hotel for our family trip to China run by Intrepid. The rooms were OK however the extra bed placed for our daughter was extremely hard! The benefit of the hotel is it's central location, close to the main sites and public transport which we used a few times. The staff's knowledge of English...
