We stayed here one night before our Yangtze River Cruise This is a high rise hotel, 22 stories, with amazing views, amongst the skyscrapers. We had a modern room with very nice furnishings, very comfortable soft bed (most of the beds in China are extremely hard), good mini fridge, good air conditioning, large flat screen TV with a few English...

Wanyou Conifer Hotel The bed is hard and when you move you can hear the springs. My room was facing two tall apartment buildings and you can hear the people talking all night because the windows are single pane glass. The see through window to the washroom from the bedroom is nice with a romantic partner, but not with family...

This is an older hotel, 29 floors. Rooms were dated, but otherwise comfortable. I slept well. WiFi was OK by China standards. Breakfast spread was OK. No gym. Actually there is a gym, but it has about 4 otreadmills and a bike or two and only open a few hours a day, and they charge for it. However, you can...

We were only in Chongqing for 1 night but were very pleased to stay in this hotel. The room was very modern and clean. The breakfast buffet provided a generous choice of western and Chinese foods. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel was conveniently located to the Chongqing zoo, Eling Park and Ciqikou Old Town.

Well located to shops if you need to buy amenities or general shopping, the room was large enough for both of us to spread our luggage. The bathroom was a little on the small size though. I dined at the restaurant on my own which was a challenge, but I did mange to eat a delicious meal. Breakfasts had variety....

three nights - business trip. Hotel is largely catered to Chinese guests in my opinion but you still see very little westerners in CQ :) Solid but nothing extraordinary...hence the 3 stars + Clean rooms + Conveniently located + Restaurant food was delicious!! - Not all reception staff is versed in English which causes some delays (minor issue) - Breakfast...

Chong Qing is a huge city, and having a quiet place to lay your head is essential. About $100 per night with breakfast, we noticed mostly Europeans at this hotel. Breakfast was decent - a little on the small side, but we found enough to eat. Translation of breakfast (in description and execution) were often amusing. If you want anything...

We stayed 2 days at the hotel and was surprised by the quality. The room was large, and of a very high standard. Clean and well equipped with all you need. The check-in was friendly and very very efficient. Considering that this hotel is located on a very busy street, there was no traffic-noise in the room.

Stayed at the Wanyou Conifer Hotel for a 4 day international conference. Most staff are really helpful whether they can speak English or not. Clean and tidy rooms, good buffet breakfasts and nice food in other facilities, close to big supermarket and shopping centre with unique foods streetside, but most importantly... amazingly trustworthy cleaning staff (returned jewelry I had left...
