This hostel offers decent accommodation in Kowloon. We stayed in a 4-bed room with ensuite bathroom. The room was not so big but it was good enough for HK standards. The room had a small desk and clothes drawers for the guests. The bed was the most comfortable (compared to the other HK hostels i've stayed at). While it may...

I have stayed in a lot of places and the bed is definitely shorter than the average I've been. The toilet and shower room is a bit dirty but alright for a dorm room. The locker has only space for a small daypack. The lobby is pretty small. The location is great. It is less than 5 minutes from MRT...

Hotel is Clean and Comfortable even if it is small it is worth the money beacause room price is cheap. Highly recommended for budget travellers. Very accomodating staffs and helpful. We'll definitely comeback. Thank you Yesinn for a memorable stay.

While conveniently located on a bus and train route that's easily accessible from the airport and quite centralized to some amazing people and urban scapes; the twin room itself was very small and beds very hard, we were unable to use the toilet for a day due to an issue with plumbing in the area and the phone line was...

Clean. Comfortable bed, happy coming back here to doze off. Good amenities. Location near public transports. Abundance of food throughout the night nearby. Convenience store just a walk across. Only mini downside, bathroom a little small but hey it's Hong Kong so we managed to adjust. Overall recommended.

I booked 3 nights for this hotel, but I didn't show up the first night because I missed my flight. Showed up the following day and Doris said that they gave out my bed to another person. I felt sad but, she said she will give me an upgrade that comes with a private bathroom, at another Yesinn at Anchor...

Location is great, near MTR. Budget restaurants just across the street and some open 24/7. Near 24/7 convenient stores as well. Room is clean but very very small. Only had 4 channels on TV and all are Chinese. Free internet but very slow FB-does-not-even-load-slow. Receptionist who welcomed us speak English but the one we asked for recommendations and internet issues...

Well located hotel with budget hotel price, and actual hotel reception/lobby at GF (vs the real budget hotel where reception are located elsewhere). Plentiful food places opposite and nearby, K-Mart/7-11/money changer just around the corner. Best thing is the airport bus A21 stop is a short walk towards Nathan Rd. Temple St night market right at the doorstep too. Too...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
