The room fits exactly 1 bed and 1 bathroom. They are very talented to keep 1 desk and TV also. In bathroom, water flashes everywhere while showering. I know not much can get in this narrow city. One advantage is very convenient area, I can get Chinese food, sushi express, post office just close by.

This hotel is about a minute walk from the Yau Ma Tei stop so it's extremely convenient location wise. We stayed in the double room and found it was enough space for the two of us. The shower is a part of the toilet area and might be a tight fit for anyone taller than 5ft7in when sitting on the...

The price that i paid for does not reflect the value of this room. There are more cons than the Pros. Pro: Hotel location is excellence as is just above the train station. Cons: 1) Overpriced hotel. There are better hotels around the area of better values. 2) Noisy Hotel. Stayed in Room 1009. The air con compressor is too...

I stayed at Casa Hotel this summer July 2016 for a week as a female solo traveller. Pros: - Book early to not pay for full price (I booked in March/May for £35 ~ HK$350 per night for a single room compared to the full website price at £50-55 ~ HK$500-550) - Literally located on the main Nathan Road; travel...

The best thing I like for the hotel is the strategic location. The MRT station is just a few steps walk from the hotel. However, the room was small and the cleanliness can be improved. The receptionists were friendly to entertain all the queries. If you have a tight budget and looking for a good location to stay, this can...

Great location to the ladies market. there is a another market 2 street behind the hotel. 20min walk to the ferry to cross to Central and Wan Chi. Hotel location is really convenient for us, near to MTR( 5 mins walk) and bus stops is located just outside hotel entrance. Lots of food and shopping areas around hotel and all...

Stayed here because of price and location. Location is excellent -very close to MTR, and I got a good deal from Ctrip. We were on 13th floor (1304) facing Nathan Road. Some road noise but sorted with ear plugs. Room was a 'deluxe' room so enough space for 2 plus luggage. Also room safe, TV, fridge, kettle and water provided...

I booked this hotel with great price and could be free cancel before 2 days depart. 3 minutes from Yaumatei MTR Exit C, clean and small but enough for family with 1 baby like us. Just the lift is quite old, need to upgrade.

Pro ========= Location -------------- Excellent location at Nathan Road, just next to metro (MTR) ( Yau Ma Tei) Bus stop just outside the hotel for airport and other destinations. Lot of shopping, eateries nearby(Some indian restaurants are just 10 min ride in a taxi) Some of the attractions are easily accessible Tiny but clean rooms. Puny bathroom, it was fun...

I came to this hotel because of the "reasonable" price 1,000 HKD for a single room and good location. When I came to the room I was shocked. Ugly, depressive, dark, resembling a prison cell. In one minute I came back to the receptionist and asked for another room. Impossible. They refused to refund my money because I was already...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
