We stayed for one night and were upgraded to a suite, the room was lovely and had everything in it complimentary including mouth wash. The bed was comfortable and the rooms clean. Reception was helpful with instructions on how to get to the Macau ferry terminal which was about 10 minutes walk away, very handy location:) If you are after...

Location is convenient, near to MTR, walking distance to central and room is clean. The front desk staffs are not friendly, definitely needs to be more customer oriented. We were asked to pay for a deposit to borrow the umbrella!

We have chosen to stay at the Bauhinia Hotel twice now for the following reasons in the following order. 1. Hotel location: close to central. There is also a Welcome supermarket, good noodle/rice shop nearby, mtr and tram stops near by and close to the over head walkways. 2. Size of rooms: big beds and enough room to be comfortable...

Just a 3 min walk from Sheung Wan mtr station. There are many good restaurants around this neighborhood. Rooms are a little on the small side but typical of Hong Kong hotels. There's a lounge on the 4th floor for all hotel guests where you can get drinking water, coffee, tea and there's even buns, muffins and some cupcakes in...

We (2 adults, 1 teenager) were at Serviced Apartment during October - November 2016 on the seventh floor. Our apartment was with 2 bedrooms. Our experience was very positive one. Everything worked just nicely and the location is really wonderful i.e. close to everything. The staff was very friendly and professional. We can honestly recommend Bauhinia Serviced Apartment in Sheung...

It's not a top level hotel, but the price-value ratio was good. on the plus: top central location, right near the international finance centre, near the metro good price reasonably clean, I had no issue with that all things in the room seemed working, the room was actually quite nice I got two different newspapers every morning reception friendly and...

The hotel is quite hidden, a few taxi drivers could not find the place. The hotel room was not clean, there was a coat of dust in one of the room n made it smell horrible. Our request for change of room was at first refused but finally they change it for us. The hotel charged for storing your luggage,...

The hotel side was full so they upgraded me to a "suite" on the serviced apartment side, but it was just a mini apartment that had a tiny kitchenette which I had no use for. There was no toiletries so I had to ask for them and although the room was clean, it was not worth $250 a night. Other...

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
