I've been to many good hotels in the past but this one was simply the best. its main quality is the attention for details. Service is outstanding and everything is really 5 stars. We will definitely come back!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 14 February 2017

This review is for the “Old Mandarin” as opposed to the Landmark Mandarin. “Old Mandarin” referring to the original Mandarin Oriental Hotel though you would have no way to know its age as it has been thoroughly updated over the years. This is a First Class Hotel in the classic definition of that term. I could not find a defect....

We stayed for several nights and the hotel was great in many ways. This is the older Mandarin Oriental and more traditional. The in room check on arrival made it very easy from the start and the rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you need including coffee machine, USB chargers etc. Breakfast is a treat with everything imaginable...

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental overnight on my way from China back to Australia and it was just superb! From the doormen and reception staff to the very-nervous! porter who brought my bags up, the service was excellent. As indeed was the service in the Captian's Bar and my dining experience in the Chinnery. The hotel is close to...

Love love love this hotel. It's definitely one of the most iconic luxury hotels in Hong Kong. The service is top-notch and the location is very very central. I highly recommend this hotel if you're ever visiting Hong Kong.

A wonderful classic that sits squarely in the Central district on HK island, the Mandarin Oriental is a perfect business hotel. I've stayed here twice previously, once for leisure and the other for business. The spa/gym facilities are fantastic and the staff are second to none. Service is clearly emphasized here and it really shows.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
