I can't remember how many times I have come to Conrad Hong Kong. Every time I come, I enjoy excellent service. This time is no exception. I booked for three nights, including the weekend, in advance. The hotel allowed me finish check-in at noon and gave me a Peak View suite for three nights for free. I thought it was the biggest surprise. But when I got to the room, I found that the white Conrad logo duck in the suite was quite cute, and because I stayed for three nights, the hotel gave me a special dragon year bear. Every service staff in the hotel is very warm and friendly. When I came to the executive lounge, I still saw those familiar faces, although I didn't know their names. For example, the tall boy was very enthusiastic to help every guest, and he also helped me to delay the check-out of the room until 3:00 pm, and let me continue to rest in the lounge after check-out, until I left for the flight to leave Hong Kong at night.
The room cleaning/housekeeping staff was also very patient and careful. I was impressed by Woody, the waiter on the 40th floor. He came on time every morning and tidied the whole room in an orderly manner. He also made me feel that housekeeping can be done so professionally, keeping a very comfortable distance from guests, while making people feel very comfortable. It was such great experience.
Because there is a shopping mall and a subway station downstairs, my stay was not affected too much by the No. 8 typhoon signal. I believe Conrad Hong Kong will still be my first choice for accommodation in Hong Kong in the future.

This is a fantastic hotel in Hong Kong. Great location to travel around HK, close to MTR and Tram services. The hotel rooms and service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. I used the pool area, gym and executive lounge and I could not find fault. I was allowed to check in at 8am with my flight landing at 6am from the UK. Breakfast was serve until 10:30am so still had time to grab a bite after freshening up from a long flight.
The pool attendants Tyler and Paolo are especially great, they keep the area spotless, plenty of fresh towels and provide fruit and water. They even helped arrange a coffee for me to help with the Jet lag!!
Turn down service and Chinese tea provided in the room, I also like how the room attendants lay out my toiletries onto a white cloth after I left them scattered about very nice touch.
Rooms are a great size, comfortable with working area, great bed and TV services and separate bath, shower and toilet which makes it very comfortable indeed.
It’s the second time I have stayed here in the last 4 months and I will return here again when visiting HK. Keep up the good work.

We chose the Conrad as I had stayed here before some years ago.
We love the location of the Hotel (on the Island), and the Conrad brand. Nothing is too much trouble, and both being Hilton Gold members got upgraded to a nice room on the 60th floor (offering executive lounge access).
I have to say that the dining options at the hotel are great (and I will write separate reviews for them), but we ate at Nicolini’s 3 times during our stay !
We absolutely loved the lounge bar and their nightly music set (Shout out to James on the Piano !). It was great to have the opportunity to relax in the evening (between 6 and 10.30 ish). The drinks were reasonably priced, and came with wonderful snacks (fresh lychee, crisps and olives). We ended most evenings here…
We also used the executive lounge on the 59th floor a lot. We had breakfast there, afternoon tea, and they had a happy hour 5-7 (cocktails, wine snacks etc). The view from here across the harbour is about as good as it gets…We also need to mention Jason in the lounge, who always remembered our names and exuded positiveness and hospitality. Jason - you really made our trip, thank you!
We found the concierge very helpful, going out of their way to provide detailed instructions for us, making dinner reservations for us, and suggesting restaurants.
The pool and hot tub were good, although we didn’t have great weather so only used once.
We would stay here again if we return to Hong Long.

The Conrad Hong Kong is a solid choice due to its excellent location and high standards. Our check-in agent escorted us to the 59th floor executive lounge for the short 30-minute wait until our upgraded harbor view room was ready. The afternoon tea and cocktail hour food in the executive lounge was high quality and satisfying, and the staff was excellent. The room itself might be showing its age, but it was well maintained and importantly, it was really quiet. You can walk to the peak tram station through Hong Kong Park in less than 10 minutes, with good signage directing you. The hotel is also connected via a series of escalators to the Admiralty subway station, which is perfect for getting across the harbor, and a good starting point for getting to places like HK Disneyland or the airport.
The lady receiving guests for the breakfast buffet at the Garden Cafe seems overworked and I saw her muttering to herself in Cantonese a few times. She should receive some more help or be rotated for a break.

This hotel is just awful. The rooms are dated from the mid 90s, staff couldn’t care less, breakfast staff is particular isn’t even trying to pretend to be helpful. I couldn’t find one positive thing to say. Nobody at the property has tried to do anything to be even remotely helpful, from checkin staff to valet, I’ve never seen a property with such attitude.

I’m going to lead with the more redeeming parts of the hotel, and also disclose that I’m a Bonvoy guy but I also have status at Hilton brands. The good parts: the hotel is in a great location, the late night front desk guy who checked us in was very courteous, the bell guy that night was great, the room service was great too (especially the girl that delivered it). Also, and the best part of the stay, the two gentlemen servers in the executive lounge were very polite, friendly and extremely thoughtful. Not to mention their gym is great! The sauna and steam room and actually superior for a hotel. Now let’s get to the overall rating: I’ll start with everyone else at the front desk, they’re incredibly rude and make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by asking a simple question. This is assuming you can get any of them to acknowledge you. Next, the front desk people are very arrogant, rude, discourtesy, blatantly respectful and outright judgmental. They wouldn’t even acknowledge my wife or I when we first arrived, then they gave us attitude as if we shouldn’t even be there. It got to the point where I thought they were either bigots, or racists, but other Americans and Europeans conveyed to us they acted the same way to them. Which was very mean, and very nasty. My wife is European, and she was convinced that they hated Europeans in general until other people disclosed how they were treated. The rooms are outdated, and not on par with a 5 star brand like the Ritz or JW. Again, I normally stay at Marriott brands so this may be what normal Conrad’s look like. The gym staff failed to even offer us towels, keys for the lockers in the locker room or even direct us to the water. They did with other guest but not us for some reason. If this hotel’s goal was to be the most inhospitable hotel in all of Hong Kong, they exceeded expectations there. Overall, I have zero intentions of staying at that hotel ever again after the mean, nasty, distasteful and derogatory way we were treated, minus the aforementioned staff. Personally, if you have the option to stay at the JW, W or Ritz, I’d leverage the opportunity considering the price point. I only stayed there because I needed to blow through some Hilton Honors points but I have no intentions to ever step foot in there again.

Tonight is my 2nd to last night in Conrad HK, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional.
While this Conrad usually caters towards couples and business travelers, they took great care of me and my 17mo old daughter.
They provided us with a crib, a child size bathrobe, baby soap, a high chair and a set of baby utensils, I have stayed at quite a few Waldorf Astorias and Conrads around the world and they were not nearly as detailed as Conrad HK.
The decor at the Conrad, albeit still grand, does need to be renovated soon. The carpet is seeing wears and the bathrooms tiles are aged. However, the place is kept clean. My room also came with an air purifier, likely due to covid19, it does make me feel safer.
They did recognize my diamond status at check-in and we got upgraded to a top floor Harborview room. My daughter loves watching the cars from up high. I have attached a photo of the view from my room, unedited. It is gorgeous.
Due to covid19 measures, breakfasts are only served in room, the options did get repetitive quickly, but the foods are well prepared. Diamond members also can enjoy afternoon tea/evening snacks at the lobby lounge. We visited almost everyday for my toddler's afternoon snack. I would like to compliment everyone of the lobby lounge staff for their INCREDIBLE service. They are greatly patience with my daughter and have gone out of their way to help make her comfortable. I cannot appreciate them enough.
Additionaly, the hotel is at a perfect location. It is right above the Admiralty MTR station, which is the central transit hub in HK island. You can get to all the different subway lines within a 3 minutes walk from the hotel building. Another perks for parents with kids: the hotel is right next to HK Park, it is equipped with a walk through aviary, a multi-tier playground and a few fountains/ponds. I have taken my kid here a few times during our Amber Code period (3 days for now), and have enjoyed the outdoor space.
Overall, I have enjoyed my stay greatly. I will not hesitate to call Conrad HK my home again when I visit my relatives in the future.

The rooms are generously large with equally spacious bathrooms. The rooms are promptly cleaned with fresh towels every time The bed is perfect and the blanket warm. The aircon tends to be too cold though.
The TV is a smart one and I used my iPad with my HDMI cable to watch the shows I want. The internet is fast and there are enough sockets to which one can plug all devices.
The restaurants were full as it was a holiday in Hong Kong. The staff are very helpful and courteous.
I will be back soon and I will certainly check in Conrad.

Overall my stay at the Conrad was quite decent. The rooms definitely feel tired and could do with a refresh, but it was clean and comfortable. The amenities were all there and the service was excellent. When we returned in the evening, housekeeping had laid out slippers by our beds and provided a plate of fruit. The room was also quite large by Hong Kong standards and came with an amazing view. So why three stars?
First, the front desk gave me erroneous information regarding access to the Executive Lounge. My understanding is that lounge access is typically reserved for Diamond members, so I was quite surprised when the lady provided me with a sheet of my benefits and explained that I could access the lounge with my Gold membership. What she didn't mention, however, was that if you're Gold, you can only access it if you stay on floors 56-59 (my room was on floor 55). I found out only after I entered and the waiter called front desk to confirm. We were asked to leave, but the waiter was quite apologetic and gave us drinks to take back to our rooms. I'm fine with not having access to the lounge, since this was a perk that I never expected anyways, but the front desk should have made regulations concerning access clear at check-in.
Second, the bathroom was falling apart. Various components in there are falling off and the sink makes this loud and disturbing sound every time it drains. This might just be my room, though, but the sound was not pleasant at all.
