When you are on a budget and just needed a place to stay for the night, this is not a bad hotel. Service is good the location is just on the right place if you prefer to be close to the ladies market in Mongkok Area. Train is just a 3minute walk away and Langham Mall is a bus ride...

The thing I love about this hotel is that there are plenty of good food to eat once you step out of the hotel, e.g. Mido Cafe. Then at night, there's a night market at Temple Street, which is just next door. The MTR station is roughly 10 minutes walk away. The hotel room is very small, but hey, this...

Hotel staff friendly, polite and helpful. Booked through a travel agent . Was really surprised by how tiny the room was. We cannot keep the luggage bag open and walk about ! Stayed 5 nights, stayed out most of the time, not conducive to stay in cramped room. Advantage is the good location, near mtr and shops. Travelled with my...

The hotel staff were friendly and acceded to our requests politely. We were pleasantly surprised by the handy smartphone which provided much convenience for our free-and-easy travel. There was also shuttle service to Kowloon Ferry Terminal. The hotel was located near MTR station and surrounded by eateries. Although the rooms were not big, twin room was sufficient for six people...

The room is small but well equipped, clean and pleasant. During weekends the price hikes a bit out of proportions. Staff at reception is not particularly friendly but check in was smooth and easy. Good hotel!

Hotel service is good. But not so clean. A local 'cha can teng' named Mido is near to the hotel. Hotel is walking distance to temple street. U may enjoy some local food and buy souvenir. Walking distance to mrt station and near to airport bus stop.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
