I stayed here for one night in March 2010 stopping over on my way from Taiwan back to the UK. I booked through expedia and paid $74 US for the night (not including breakfast). This place has a kind of faded elegance about it which I found charming rather than depressing. It’s a functional mid-range business/tourist place. There are supposed...

February 2010 was my second time staying at this hotel. We launched our trip to Asia from Hong Kong so we stayed here in Jan 2010 and then again in Feb on our way back (the repeat visit being the first indication we liked it here). We booked Island Pacific online, after reading other Trip Advisor reviews. Just a 10...

A good place to stay whilst in Hong Kong. A room overlooking the harbour is worth having, but there is a slight hum of traffic below. The hotel is in an area where locals live and work and a walk through the locality is very interesting. It is well placed for the tram and for sightseeing. It is an area...

Stayed here for 13 nights with my backpacking-daughter. The room wasn't huge - about the same square-footage as a Travel Lodge room. The place was spotless, beds were beautifully made up daily, and there were always fresh towels on the rail. We had a side-harbour view, which included a view of residential blocks too. But, to be fair, these tower...

Even though the Island Pacific only has got 3 Stars, you will be able to enjoy a full 4 Star experience. The rooms are more than worth the price, I usually paid about 50-60 Euro per night. They are all very clean and if you check in very late you are running a good chance to get a free upgrade...

It is not in the trendiest place, and it is a hike to get to the tourist places, but it has a view of the harbor and a good price. Online price was lower than reception quoted when inquiring about a return trip. Breakfast is good, but overpriced. Close to Macau Ferry term and Airport express is 25HKD trip away.

The deluxe room had an excellent view when you could see out the windows. We had to constantly wipe the window with a towel to remove the mist. The room heating left you in jumpers and we had to get a second dooner for the nights. Initially the heat setting was blocked off and when we complained about the temperature...

I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again for sure. It may not be right in the centre of the hustle and bustle but there's a tram stop pretty much outside the hotel on the main street (which is a very pleasant and nice way to get into Central etc). It's also good because you're nestled right in...
