We stayed at the YMCA Salisbury prior to boarding our cruise ship. Don’t let the YMCA name fool you, the rooms were clean and neat with basic amenities that you would find in any decent American hotel. Coffee and tea service, mini bar, room safe...More
We stayed in the YMCA in Salisbury Rd for five nights prior to boarding our cruise ship at the Ocean Terminal near by. My idea was to drag our cases to the ship. It turned out that to do so would involve going up and...More
The Salisbury YMCA is ideally situated at the tip of Kowloon, right next to the ritzy Peninsula Hong Kong. For a fraction of the price of its high-end neighbor, the YMCA is hard to beat. Get a Harbour View Room for great views of Central...More

Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also
contains a diverse range of attractions for the entire family. Whether taking a walk in Kowloon Park, exploring museums, going shopping or grabbing a bite to eat – Tsim Sha Tsui has something for everyone.

The hotel actually comes in two parts with the front been a real hotel in the sense it trades like any hotel while the rear section I believe is like a YMCA. They both have the same entry and restaurant on the ground floor.
However the only reason I always stay here is because of the high standard and the fact I can get a harbourview at a very reasonable price for Hong Kong. I believe you could not go wrong staying here. You should contact the hotel directly to ask if there is a discount. I never have because I am not a member of YMCA
