Pros: They provide a useful smart device that you can take out of the hotel that allows you to make calls and surf the net. Some of the staff were helpful and nice. Cons: Very small rooms, cramped shower toilet and wash basin space, uncomfortable bed, one of the lifts wasn't working which meant waiting for a while, low quality...

Stayed 6 nights for business. What I like: -Good location between Wan Chai & Causeway Bay MTR stations. -Easy walking distance to shopping areas, MTR stations and Queen Elizabeth Stadium. -Plenty of eateries around, there's one good noodles shop just round the corner. -Big room size (for HK standard). -Staff were professional and spoke English. -Provided umbrellas (very helpful during...

South Pacific Hotel is the most visited and best option for my Hong Kong trip because of the convenient location and reasonable price. It is only a street next to Time Square (a shopping mall with MTR station connected) and surrounding by a traditional market area which is full of local features. The size of the room is enough for...

Rooms are not very big-but comfortable with all amenities available in bigger 5 star hotels,. Excellent free internet with password for each room, amenities in the bathroom flat TV, master...

Spent 8 nights at this hotel in September 2016 with my wife. We arrived pretty late (around 10pm), so there was no much room choices available at that point of time, so we got room from 11th floor even we had request for high floor room. Well, luckily reception staff was able to accommodate our wish next day for which...

First off, getting around town is pretty easy. One can commute in buses, MTRs, trams, or if you can afford to pay more- taxis, but I generally would not recommend taxis as other alternatives are easily accessible and much cheaper. This hotel is located in the Wan Chai District, northern part of the Hong Kong Island, and on the other...

Hard to explain what you want. I call to room service to order some club sandwich and draft beer. First "lady" offered to call housekeeping then other "lady" accept sandwich but say that they don't have draft beef, then after spelling b-e-e-r Stella Artois she say, that she don't have "Carlsberg" ??? and e.t. I was in elevator, when one...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
