Booked into The Emperor Hotel in Happy Valley Hong Kong as our Son lives next door. Our first room was very good for 4 nights but when we came back for another 3 nights the room was very shabby, dirty bed valance which I asked to be changed. Broken tiles in the bathroom & generally in need of redecorating. The...

The hotel is conveniently located near the hospital which is what we needed. The rooms are small but suitable for anyone who will mainly be sightseeing or visiting friends and relatives. The air con is excellent and room service changes any towels and bedding everyday. The staff are really friendly and happy to help. We arrived at 10am when check...

The Emperor Happy Valley is an old hotel - built in the early 70's. It is not expensive and you can get good deals online. I booked my room through Agoda, then was upgraded to a bigger room. The secret to this hotel is you need to know what you want. If you want close to the hustle and bustle...

Emperor hotel was fine, hongkong style. Upkeep of the hotel room we were in was good. Like the decors, emperor themed, reminds you of emperor era. Breakfast would be better if we have more food items to choose from. Lobby needs improvement. Location was fine with us,quiet., hospital nearby, five minute walk and its the tram station. Could get food at 7-11 if...

We stayed in Emperor Valley as part of the package we bought in metrodeal. The room space is very small probably because of the limited/expensive space in hong kong island. The restaurants and stores nearby are also pricey due high cost of rent. The place is a little old but they managed to maintain it clean and comfortable. Housekeeping service...

The Emperor Hotel at Happy Valley HK is clean and they serve regular breakfast..regular because it's regularly the same for the 3 days we stayed there: sausages, scrambled eggs, congee, noodles, steamed siopao, veggies and bread. You have to bring your own toiletries or you will be asking regularly from housekeeping. The staff at the Lobby and at the Reception...

Pros: Breakfast available and rooms were cleaned everyday Cons: Bad location , no nearness to MTR metro...

My family and I (husband plus two young boys) were visiting HK relatives over Chinese New Year and chose this hotel primarily due to its location. My review can be summarised into 3 main points: 1) Responsive service 2) Ageing facilities 3) Good restaurant and location 1) Responsive service Not surprisingly during this period, the hotel was at full capacity...

My stay at this hotel was good. Their staff were warm, efficient and can communicate well in English. This hotel is in an isolated residential area, so we needed to take a taxi to head on to the shopping district. Had I known this I would've booked somewhere nearer the busier areas. But overall, the hotel wasn't disappointing. The room...

Hotel rooms are tiny but within Hong Kong normal standards. Although they are far out of town and the attractions, the tram station is 2-3 minutes walk away and that can link you almost anywhere, especially if you stop at Causeway bay near the MTR station. You can also use the hotel shuttle which leaves at fixed times to fixed...
