2 nights in Hong Kong. The staff at this hotel were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. I was lacking a bedside table and reading light which would have been helpful in my jet lagged state. Only ate breakfast here which was fine with plenty of variety.

We stayed in the family room with 2 queen size beds which worked great for the 4 of us with a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old girls. The girls love the teddy bears welcome gift which serves a good start. The room size is reasonable for hotels in Hong Kong. It is very clean. The sound proof from the windows was...

Stayed at the Dorsett while in Hong Kong. The rooms, though small (like other hk hotels anyway, were recently refurbished and very comfortable. Free morning coffee at the lobby was a nice touch. What I really appreciated though were the helpful staff at the lobby who demonstrated a genuine desire to make the guest experience an enjoyable one.

It's very unusual for Hong Kong and disappointing that they do not have 24 hours room service. I went to bed hungry last night because of this. Also, I'd ordered food using the food delivery app Deliveroo several times to my room and on one occasion the front desk rang my room and asked me to come down to collect...

The hotel is convienently located with food outlet within walking distance. Transport is good especially the Ding Ding tram, it is just a 2 min walk from the hotel. Rooms are clean and large and service is highly commendable.

Hotel is great and clean, staffs are friendly and helpful and the hotel also provide free shuttle which is really appreciated. Room size is decent and comfortable. Nothing to complain about the hotel and definitely will be back to this hotel again if I go to Hong Kong again.

Stayed here with my friends for a short visit in Hong Kong. Hotel is quite a walk from the nearest MTR but is near a bus stop and a tram stap. Nearest convenience store is also quite far. Causeway bay is near too. If you don't mind walking, this is a good hotel to stay. Otherwise, you can always take...

Dear Kristin, Thank you for your compliments. We are happy to know you had a good stay with us. We hope you had the chance to explore the city on a tram ride which is just outside of the hotel. As an alternative to exploring the city on foot, we also have free shuttle bus to take our guests to...

Stayed in family room ( family of 3 ). Neat and well maintained rooms , good house keeping . For family of four rooms may be cramped. Breakfast spread was decent . We had our lunch and dinner outside - difficult to find restaurants close by - plan to have them at one of the malls in stations. Staff were...

Dear Adhavan, We are delighted to know that you had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our service and hospitality. In fact the hotel is located in between Wanchai and Causeway Way. Given its prime location, the hotel is a short walking distance to many eateries and shopping places, you may ask for our Concierge’s recommendations on your next visit for...

I stayed at this hotel for about 8 days and felt comfortable. I did enjoy my stay here barring few issues. Here are the things which I liked: 1. The hotel in itself was well maintained 2. The staffs are friendly 3. The FREE IDD phone is too useful for people travelling from other countries. They have free calling and...

Dear Nagesh, We are very pleased to know your overall experience was a pleasant one except for a few things you mentioned. Please rest assured that we will look into the breakfast spread and consider your recommendations. Offering Kam Kee voucher as an alternative to breakfast onsite is actually part of our marketing endeavours to let our guests to enjoy...

We stayed at Dorsett Wan Chai for 8 days and had a good experience. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were also friendly. I would suggest you bare in mind the different views you get from standard room to the next level up. With standard you will always get a view of the cemetery next to the hotel although...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
