We stayed at the cosmopolitan for a total of 8 days split with a visit to china. We stayed in a suite on the 17 th floor, we were a bit concerned about the cleanliness which full marks to the hotel they sorted out before we returned. There is unfortunately no bar at the hotel, there is one at the...

Have just returned from a 9 night stay at this hotel in Hong Kong ,chosen mostly by the good reviews on Trip .However there are some things worth mentioning which may help other travellers in deciding to book the Cosmopolitan .Firstly the positive stuff -we booked a de luxe Causeway bay /happy valley view room .Having seen a standard double...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. It’s great to know that our guest room that overlooks the breath-taking racecourse and city’s skyline was to your liking. Our Deluxe room types are actually very popular among travellers like you who prefer a nice view in their rooms. Your concern towards the noise is well noted. We trust it’s only an...

Great service and rooms. In terms of value for money, the only issue we had was location: a 20-min walk (in humid climate) from stations. However, cabs are great value in HK and if you can afford to stay at the Cosmopolitan then you can afford the cabs.

Enjoyed our stay here, especially with the upgrade. Hotel is currently being refurbed but we noticed no disruption. Very helpful staff. Free mini bus to Central and other locations or very cheap and frequent tram outside the door.(Pay on exit)

We had an enjoyable stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The check-in was fast and efficient, we liked that they upgraded us to a theme suite and offered a late check-out. Check-out was also quick and efficient. The staff in reception and the bellboys all had a very nice attitude. We found the room to be clean and tidy with a...

We stayed here with our 11 year olds and found the hotel comfortable and very friendly, the rooms are a good size for Hong Kong and although the children shared a bed they had enough room.We stayed on the 9th floor and had a good view over the city area there was some refurbishment work up on the higher floors...

The room I got was adequate for three of us who stayed there. We each had single beds, although I would have preferred that we were given 1 double bed for my wife and I to share, and a single bed for my son. The bathroom was adequate, although I was expecting the shower would be in a glass enclosure,...

Dear Kakan, Thank you for sharing with us your feedback. Regarding the triple room you stayed in, we could actually arrange for one double bed and one single bed upon request. We hope you had the chance to relay your preference to our colleagues on the spot for necessary arrangement. Your comment towards the breakfast is noted, we will review...

The hotel matched our expectations but not so much more. Our room were great but we thought the "The deluxe Causeway Bay city view"-room would include more city view than just a bridge, some cars and trams. I also felt that the price we paid was a little bit to high for what we was given. However, our stay was...

What a disappointment! The room type we booked months ago was not available, so had to settle for something very uncomfortable. On top of all cigarette smoke was seeping though the crack underneath the door....

Dear EPNorth, We regret to learn that our hotel services didn’t meet your expectation this time. Though requests on bedding and non-smoking floor are usually arranged upon availability, we seldom hear about similar cases that the reserved room type is not available upon check-in, we appreciate if you could advise us your reservation details at mktcom@cosmohotel.com.hk for further investigation. Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
