Stayed with family in the quadruple room. It is nothing but a two-bed room having four beds. Very cramped and pricey. Otherwise, the services are good. The hotel shuttle is very convenient and the reception staff are extremely proactive. Breakfast is so-so with very little...More

Thank you for staying with us. Family quad room is actually one of our favourite rooms as it caters to/for family travellers in one room cosily at reasonable price instead of connecting rooms. Having said that, we would also like to recommend you...More
We stayed here during a brief (unfortunately) visit to Hong Kong. It is a well priced, well located, clean hotel and the service from the staff is excellent. The rooms are quite small and there is only free wifi in the lobby and the paid...More
For the price we paid, the location, the cleaniness of the room and the great service which is above our expectation really make our trip perfect. We stayed for 8 nights and received 35% discount to the deluxe room with view of Causeway Bay. The...More

Family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in May. Despite arriving 4 hours before check-in, we were given a room immediately. Upon viewing our booked quad room and the offered family suite, we opted for the family suite upgrade for HKD$800 per night ($100AUD), with...More

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of
buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

We were four girls in a family room. The space was a bit tight but the beds were comfortable. Two girls shared a double bed each. When we visited there were many families with children, so I think it would an appropriate location for your family too. The train station is in walking distance, there is also a shopping mall in walking distance, about 10-15mins, that you could go for meals too. For our trip, we found the location convenient for all we wanted to do and see. The hotel can call you a cab if you prefer that way of traveling too.

As for breakfast - make sure where breakfast is being served. If it is at the Dorsett, it should be fine. If it is at a restaurant near the hotel, then that breakfast is not that good. That restaurant breakfast is a noodle soup, toast, "omelet" and coffee or tea.
